LE MONT-DORE located at an altitude of 1050 m, at the foot of Puy de Sancy (1886 m), the highest point of the Massif Central where the source of La Dordogne originates.

You will find yourself close to Sancy and the ski resorts of Mont-Dore and Chastreix, about 20 minutes, but also Super-Besse, about 45 minutes. Also, Puy-De-Dôme, Vulcania, Lemptégy and the Puys mountain range are 45 minutes away. L'Aksent 4* cottage available for the weekend of July 4-6

With an area of 120 m2, the gîte is located in the heart of Auvergne in the Sancy massif, close to the Auvergne Volcanoes Park. You will find all amenities in our village of Tauves, shops + services (bakery, butcher, SPAR, bank...) Composed of 2 bedrooms, each with bathroom/toilet, equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi, TV, fenced park, parking. Convertible corner sofa. Possibility of renting sheets €10/bed and towels €6/person. Optional cleaning fee €70.

Typical Auvergne bread oven with breakfast

You will be staying at the "Clos des Murets", a former independent bread oven completely renovated in 2020, part of a 2500 m2 property. It includes a main room serving as a living room equipped with a sofa bed (140 cm bed) and a second bedroom (160 cm bed), a travertine bathroom equipped with a walk-in shower and a toilet. A spiral staircase will take you to the large bedroom with exposed stone. Breakfasts can be taken on the terrace.
