Chalet vacation rentals in Taninges

Vincent’s chalet is very special - it’s located close to the main house, but very private. There are great hiking trails right in the back yard. The view of the Alps from the backyard is more than enough to enjoy every morning and evening. Architecturally, the chalet is noteworthy - the renovation was executed flawlessly, keeping many original details. At night, you can hear the babbling stream in the backyard. It’s removed, but only 15 mins from Chamonix. We were thrilled with our stay and would love to return sometime.

A really unusual and beautifully converted little mazot or chalet. Looks characterful and rustic on the outside but it was very modern and nicely kitted out on the inside. The space is tiny but we found it perfect for two. We were there in June so could enjoy sitting out on the terrace. We are both over 6ft so had to watch our heads in the bedroom which is in the eaves. We also found the stairs very steep and tricky so would caution people who are not very sure on their feet. One had to be very careful with middle of the night trips downstairs downstairs to the bathroom! Both the living room and the bedroom have a traditional unglazed window which is sealed by a large wooden door which it is brilliant to throw open to enjoy the mountain air, even when it's raining or snowing. Very atmospheric! The mazot is in a quite spot just on the edge of town but everything is 5 to 10 minutes walk away. There is even a japanese and also a savoyard restaurant a few minutes walk away.

Sylvie is absolutely wonderful and her home is the best place we've stayed in Morzine. We're booking to return next year! We are two families who came with two toddlers, a 5-year-old and 17-year-old. All of the kids were entertained and happy. There is plenty of space for everyone to convine for some social time or do their own things. Eight of us in total and never felt cramped. The terrace is absolutely gorgeous! The Prodains bus stops right outside so getting to Avoriaz each day was very easy. Morzine center is ten minutes walk. The hill is steep but you can get the free bus instead. We did the hill with a double pram and it was fine. Sylvie us full of recommendations and her home has plenty of toys, dvds, etc to keep everyone entertained. Although our toddlers just wanted to visit the chickens next door and play in the flowers most of the time. The rooms are large and the beds are very comfy!

Yannick is a very friendly and very responsive host, ready to offer activities. His cottage, very well-equipped, is located in a hamlet allowing you to relax in peace and enjoy a very beautiful panorama. I particularly recommend having breakfast on the terrace, with the view of the Arly valley, with the morning sun as a companion! Not far from the cottage, beautiful walks, walks or hikes to do. Possibility to relax and recover physically from your hike by swimming in the lake of the small village of Flumet. Truly a beautiful cottage, a beautiful place to know and a very friendly host.

We had a great time! The view was amazing, and we loved the jacuzzi and sauna. We grilled outside and enjoyed perfect weather. The best part was canyoning with the kids just 10 minutes away. We’ll definitely come back!

It’s better than the photos. We had an amazing stay with 6 adults and 2 kids. Plenty of space for everyone. The common spaces were perfect for spending time all together but enough room for everyone to spread out. The kids and adults had a blast in the pool soaking up the views. The views are really something special. Julien was a great communicator, always quick to respond and willing to offer local recommendations and tips. We’ll be back!

EVERYTHING was perfect! Samuel is a very accommodating, pleasant, welcoming and friendly host! The house is just breathtaking, the decor incredible, the view sublime, the bedding of unparalleled comfort, everything is so clean that you could lick the floor, nothing is missing in terms of amenities, everything is really great in this Airbnb! We stayed here for a week for our Mini Moon end of August, and it was perfect! Absolutely beautiful chalet, the swim spa was the perfect way to start and end the day! So much helpful information around the place, very tidy and stress free. We were welcomed with such a thoughtful gift, and the Polaroid camera was a great touch! We enjoyed going to Lac de Montriond for paddle boarding, and had the best burger at Lactuel, highly recommend! We also did a lot of off roading in our 4x4, also venturing out to the Swiss alps! Fantasticable was also really fun! There’s so much to do in this area, we couldn’t fit it all in, but it is such a beautiful place to be and the locals were very friendly! We will likely be coming back again and hopefully for ski season! Thank you so much for a wonderful break!

Beautiful cottage, very comfortable with all the necessities. Very warm. The location is great, we never had any traffic or difficulty parking at Les Carroz station. Everything is well thought out. Dream home 🥰

Beautiful chalet in a lovely location. Hosts responsive and helpful. Rooms and space perfect for our family holiday. Very clean and beautiful views. Only downside was the sauna only worked for us once, host was helpful and came To sort it but we couldn’t get it to work before or after this so only used it the once. A lovely stay would highly recommend and would love to return.

Fantastic Chalet for a Ski Getaway! We had an amazing stay at this chalet! Everything was in pristine condition, and the space was thoughtfully designed for comfort and convenience. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook meals, and the large refrigerator, washer, and dryer were a huge help for a ski trip. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep after long days on the slopes. The ground-floor kitchenette was a great bonus, and the hosts were very accommodating, even providing baby cots for us. Dominique and her husband were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, speaking excellent English and making us feel right at home. The views from the chalet were absolutely stunning, and its location was perfect—just a short 10-minute drive to Les Houches and around 15 minutes to Chamonix. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would absolutely return. Highly recommend!

The photographs do not do this chalet justice. It is such a beautiful property with amazing views! The place was fully equipped for a large group. We couldn't have picked a more perfect place. Great value for money also. A car is a must to get to this chalet but we had no issues with prebooking taxis. Thank you so much Jo for being a fantastic host.

Beautiful views over looking the lake and the mountains. The hike up to the place is totally worth it and Gerard was a star for bringing the quad bike and transporting the luggage up.

very nice house! It has all the amenities you need and it is extremely close to the beach and to a nice park. Also nice garden with barbecue and a lot of play stuff. The kitchen is perfect. It was self check-in and there were no instructions, so at first some things, like sorting trash and using the TV, were difficult. I would definitely recommend this house. It was perfect for a group of 10 adults.

The stay in this fabulous chalet was just amazing. And we really enjoyed the relaxing sauna and fireplace evenings. The surrounding with the lake and the mountains is just stunning. The chalet itself is very well equipped with everything you need especially the kitchen. We totally recommend this chalet.

We came to spend a few days with the family for the Ascension week and the Maxi race. We had all the comforts in Marie and Rodolphe's cozy chalet located in a beautiful setting in Doussard. Very good stay in a small Savoyard mazot, very peaceful and beautiful environment with a magnificent view, beautiful walks nearby. Everything you need for 2 people, with small balcony and table in the garden. We recommend!

Aboslutely the best location in the area. The view from all rooms is exceptional. I would not hesitate to book this property again. There is one thing of note, and this was not a problem for us, but something to be aware of. The house is a duplex. The large deck in front connects to the ajoining unit. It is owned by the same (very friendly) family. I hope to return to this wonderful place again soon.
