The house has all the comforts. It is completely free and you have the freedom to sit anywhere in the garden. Bed is fine, surroundings quiet, you sleep well there. Sarlat is 10 minutes away by car. Everything you need is there. Including a number of large supermarkets. You are also in the beautiful Perigord web: the gardens of Eyvignues and Marqueyssac, the beautiful towns of Domme and Beynac, the Cadouin monastery, Thonac: all easily accessible. A house to go to again. And then play pétanque! There is a private track behind your house!

This is the second time we've booked this house. We feel like we're in our family home. We had a great time and Lucie and her mom are very nice hosts. We obviously plan to return again to discover all the wonders hidden in the Périgord Noir.

Perfect base to explore around Marquay by car. The cottage is quiet, the environment peaceful and natural, the interior was enough for us to eat the products of the Sarlat market there every evening. Colette is adorable, and we leave feeling even more connected and warm. We recommend eyes a second thought!

The best lodging we've had on this month long trip to France. Beautifully and comfortably decorated, private but close to all the things, the best sleep I've had in years, wonderfully appointed kitchen. Heads up that there is a washer but no dryer, but we managed fine with the very large drying rack provided. Would not hesitate to recommend, I wish I had spent more of my time here.

The rental is located in a quiet and peaceful location, surrounded by nature. The space is comfortable and quiet. Very nice comfort of the beds. It was perfect. Our host was welcoming and cheerful. Our stay went very well

Amandine was so welcoming and helpful making many recommendations. The property is in a lovely location and offers amazing accommodation that feels very homely. With a hot tub and pool you are spoilt for choice. Only 10 mins from Sarlat and 15 mins from Domme it is the perfect location to explore the Dordogne. Highly recommended

We had a great time with the family at Magali's. Very flexible and warm welcome, the house is really a gem in this very well maintained, equipped, swimming pool and garden not overlooked, provision of games… everything to have a good time! And the real plus: a bathroom and toilet per bedroom. Thank you for this beautiful stay, enjoyed by young and old.

A feel good experience! As a previous reviewer said, the property was hard to leave, from the great view down the valley from the elevated deck, to the super comfy, large bed. Without hesitation, would recommend it and the hosts’ hospitality. Diana & Derek

The perfect place for a couple to stay in the centre of old town Sarlat. Christophe was incredibly communicative and accommodating!

The location was excellent - very quiet and secure, bolangerie and casino supermarket across the road, parking downstairs, and literally 100m from the centre. The bed was comfortable, shower hot, spacious and excellent living area/kitchen. The only downside was two flights of stairs - not easy for some, but fine for us. Would definitely stay again.

From the moment we arrived it felt like home away from home, great location in the heart of Serlat, perfect for two couples, plenty of room, any questions asked where answered straight away, we were even able to stay an extra night which was great. Only one critic ! The bathroom with bath would be good if we could gang the shower head up ? That is my only critic, as the bath is amazing 🙂

Location is a gated community that has a mix of residents and rentals. Beautiful countryside view. close to town. 4 minute drive to Carrefour grocery store. Steep hill down to town would be challenging for some walkers. There were a number of stone outside steps up to the apartment level. Very clean inside the apartment with comfy beds. Water power in upstairs toilette was weak. Overall a great choice in Sarlat.

Sandrine and Pascal were very responsive to questions before booking. Pascal welcomed us with friendliness to this accommodation which perfectly matches the description given in the listing. 5 minutes from the historic center of Sarlat, this tastefully decorated apartment has all the comforts you need for a "cozy" stay at Sandrine and Pascal's. We would come back for a future stay in this beautiful Périgord Noir.

Sarlat was special to us! With Christmas approaching, it was complete. The city is small but charming! The Christmas market, very cheerful and welcoming, made a place in our hearts! It was a great place to choose and visit numerous sites in the region. The apartment is exactly as described. The cost-benefit was valuable to us. If I had known Sarlat before, as well as the apartment, I would spend Christmas there! It would have been magical! Thanks host! I'll be back if the world doesn't end first!
