Twinkle Villa

BeckaRating, 5 stars5 months ago
My partner and I stayed at Twinkle Ville for two nights. It was a wonderful and relaxing time. The house is spacious and charming! There are nice touches around the house to make it feel like a home, such as books to read and cute decorations. We decided to take advantage of the large kitchen (very rare in Japan) and cooked our meals here. We brought our own groceries, including oil and spices (make sure to check the listing to make sure you have what you need). Older houses like this in the countryside can get quite chilly in the winter but there were heating units and well space heaters to keep us warm! Plus the blankets in the bedroom are very warm as well. Hopefully we’ll have a chance to stay in the future, thanks again! ありがとうございます~ Becka and Chris

Traditionalhouse,Takeda castle 5min,Kinosaki 50min

BelindaRating, 5 stars2 days ago
This was a delightful halfway stop between Hiroshima and Kinosaki. We stayed the night and explored Takeda castle ruins nearby. Ramen shop a 2min walk was very tasty for dinner. The host was so lovely, he picked us up from the train station and dropped us back in the morning. We missed our train and arrived a few hours late, but he was a very kind host. The bath was delightful and comfortable, the whole house was spotless and spacious. We had a delightful stay and would happily visit again.

Beautiful location. A very friendly and welcoming host. Went far and beyond to accommodate for us. He even provided the charcoal for a bbq! Highly recommend if you want the Japanese countryside experience. P.S. lookup the bus system if you plan on booking the locations. Overall, an amazing stay.

Staying at this place was one of the highlights of my trip. It was a dream to stay in a traditional and authentic Japanese house and I got it realized he with the whole house to myself! And I enjoyed every detail found in this house! from the Beautiful endless rooms and corridors and beautiful lock mechanism on the wooden doors. Very peaceful and zen. A Must Stay!! Self check in was smooth. Further instructions were provided in nice folder with helpful info about the house, and recommendations of places to go. All essentials were there, bath and shower with instant hot water. Green Tea and coffee was free. Filtered water. Toothbrush, soap, shampoo etc. host was super fast in responding to my questions. I thoroughly enjoyed the free museums next door, especially Takashi Shimura’s museum, the only official museum for the late great actor in japan! Special thanks to Rehan and the entire team for making it possible for travelers to stay in and appreciate these extraordinary houses.
A wooden cabin is nestled among lush greenery, overlooking a clear, flowing stream. Large wooden decks extend from the cabin, offering a serene view of the natural surroundings. Smooth rocks and gentle ripples in the water add to the tranquil atmosphere.
