[Aozora] Quiet accommodation on the hill/Private building for relaxation/12-minute walk to Naoshima ticket office

We have spent two years in an old private house on a hill overlooking the Seto Inland Sea, we have renovated it with our own hands and operate it with a couple. This is an entire house that retains the warmth of old-fashioned wood, and is arranged in a space where you can relax. We aim to be an inn where travelers from overseas can stay with peace of mind. The facilities are simple, and there is no service like a hotel or inn, but it is popular for those who want to relax in nature. We have a fruit shop as our main business, so we provide fresh welcome fruits that we pride ourselves on during your stay. It can accommodate up to 6 people and is recommended for groups and families. About 18 minutes on foot from Uno Station, 12 minutes on foot to the ferry terminal, it is ideal as a base for Naoshima and Setouchi Art Trips. It is a 10-minute walk to the Merca Shopping Mall and a 2-minute walk to the Family Mart Tamano Uno store. There is a contracted parking lot for one car 2 minutes on foot from the base of the mountain. Our inn is only on foot from the base of the mountain, and is located on a high ground about 60 meters up. It is a short climb, but when you arrive, you will have a refreshing accomplishment and a quiet time surrounded by nature.

Lani (mountain side) - a whole rental cottage near "Kii-Kabochaya" in Setouchi National Park

This is a rental cottage by the sea on Naoshima, a sacred place for art. There are two buildings, one on the sea side and one on the mountain side, and Lani is the building on the mountain side. Free parking is available on-site, which is rare in Naoshima. The building is a separate two-story building, and the first floor bedroom has 6 beds, and the second floor Japanese-style room can accommodate up to 2 futons, so it can accommodate 6 to 8 people. It is ideal for families and friends, as well as for student training camps and seminars, as it has a family-type kitchen and washing machine. It is a 3-minute walk from OHANA to Yellow Pumpkin, and a 2-minute walk from the nearest bus stop, making it an ideal base for sightseeing in Naoshima. Enjoy a relaxing time in Naoshima in a room made with plenty of wood by a local carpenter. We have also started a Naoshima sightseeing tour for Ohana guests. There are many places in Naoshima, such as the art museum, that require reservations in advance, and we hope to provide a more fulfilling Naoshima sightseeing experience for those who use the tour, such as arranging tickets, car pick-up and drop-off, and even Naoshima sightseeing by rental bicycle. Tour inquiries can be made by email

Located a 5-minute walk from Uno Port and Uno Station, a retro and small house renovated, this is a private house for one group per day where you can relax together. Planning a trip that tends to be packed. It's just a place to sleep, but it's not a good place.Sleep time is part of your trip.An inn that makes you want to heal your tired body or make you feel like you're traveling.I wanted to make it a warm and relaxing place to sleep well. ◯ Kitchen facilities, washing machine and dryer, 64㎡ or larger space ◯Long-term stays are possible ◯ Convenience stores and supermarkets are within walking distance, and there are plenty of restaurants, cafes, delicious donut shops, and bars ◯ Free parking available (advance notice required) The 2nd floor bedroom will be open from February 13, 2026!Available for stays of 3 or more people. If you are booking for 2 people, the 2nd floor is usually locked unless you tell us otherwise. We appreciate your understanding as part of our efforts to reduce our environmental impact.

Sakura-sou/Naoshima Guest House Sakura-so, a 50-year-old house, whole house rental, 2-6 guests

I've updated the photos of the room. The bunk bed in the Western-style room has been removed and replaced with two single beds. The maximum number of guests has been changed to 6. If you already have a reservation for 7 or more people, you can stay with the same number of people without any changes. Naoshima has become a tourist destination not only for Japan but also for the whole world. What changes, what doesn't. Each blends naturally, and the air flows in a way that can only be experienced in Naoshima. You'll feel it even more by staying on Naoshima. Sakura-so opened in the summer of 2014. It is a guest house with a nostalgic Showa-era atmosphere. 5-minute walk from the center of Naoshima's Miyanoura. It is located in a very quiet place. There is a Japanese-style room with futons (up to 4 people) and a Western-style room with 2 single beds (2 people). You are renting the entire property. We welcome everyone from small groups to families. Updated June 26, 2024

Stay like a local at Nagi unoport, one group per day

This room is on the second floor of a two-story building. There is an entrance and shower room on the ground floor, and there is a separate entrance and a restaurant. We've carefully designed the fixtures and layout so that you can enjoy this facility at your leisure, as well as use it as a place to stay while traveling. In the dining room with an island kitchen, you can enjoy music with high-quality speakers. Enjoy the scent and feel of the rare pine flooring. For the bedroom area, we have thick futons instead of beds, also with small children in mind. In addition, the futon area is slightly elevated with tatami mats. One of the closest accommodations to Uno Station, it also has excellent access to outlying islands such as Naoshima. Convenience stores and popular restaurants are also close. English available.

Ensoh strives to surround its inhabitants in naturalness and simplicity, ideals tied strongly to the Japanese wabi-sabi aesthetic. It is a creatively restored home surrounded by traditional garden and lush forest. While (supplied) electric-assisted bicycles are the best way to this ‘hideaway’ and from it to the Art Islands, it is hard to believe Ensoh is mere minutes from the local train station. If you seek nature, uniqueness, space, and beauty in your Japanese travels, it is here!

In Teshima, a place where modern culture and island life are mixed, a new base has been created where you can spend "extraordinary, everyday life on the island".
