Perhaps the greatest asset of this accommodation is its one-of-a-kind “egg sauna.” This is a completely DIY sauna, designed and built entirely by JP, with a unique shape that allows heat to circulate naturally.Indulge in a sauna experience you can only enjoy here, enveloped in the gentle warmth of the wood-burning stove. The room also has a traditional Japanese sunken hearth, typical of an old kominka house. This house is built on the quiet seaside in Shodoshima Town. The house was built just for dusk watching the sea and the sunset.Therefore, I apologize for the large number of stairs on the terrace, but I can never call it barrier-free.(I will do my best to help with my luggage, etc.) However, at the end of the high terrace, there is a glittering, calm and beautiful sea in Setouchi, and a kane-colored sunset that changes faces every day. Forget your time and enjoy the extraordinary. *We are currently not allowing pets to stay at the property. Please contact us before booking if you would like to use this service. The interior is accessed by climbing the terrace stairs.It is not handicap accessible. Please be sure to accompany small children or adults when climbing up and down the stairs. The Yoshino district is about a 7-minute drive from Ikeda Port, where the ferry to Takamatsu departs. It is a quiet and small village with old-fashioned scenery of Setouchi, moderately far from the city. It is a 10-second walk to Yoshino Beach right in front of the house. If the weather is good, you can see the sunset all year round. Why not spend some time watching the sunset from the pier that stretches out to the sea?
