Lovely little home , with all mode cons . Only downside to the stay was not allowed to take the dog on any of the beaches in the area.

Excellent stay at Sylvie's. The house is spacious, very pleasant and comfortable. The bedding is excellent and the veranda is a real plus. The place was very clean and we enjoyed finding the beds made on arrival, as well as tea towels and towels in sufficient quantity. Lots of space to park on the large lot where the house is located. Good restaurant nearby. Perfect stay!

Pleasant and peaceful stay in this very well-equipped cottage. The bedding is comfortable as well as the sofa. We will not hesitate to take a break here on occasion.

This is a beautiful place to stay on the banks of the Charente which we enjoyed from the canoe but just loved seeing it flowing along edging the grounds. We came on the train which is a very easy journey from Paris to Jarnac. It is then less than an hours walk along the cycle path or quicker along the very quiet road. The market in Jarnac is excellent and there’s some nice cafes and bars. In Bourg Charente itself the bar tabac sells morning baguette and croissants, especially good to put an order in the day before. Also in the village La Ribaudiere restaurant was absolutely amazing and an experience not to be missed. So this is a great place to stay if you are car free like us but bicycles really help too especially with direct access to the 400 km path La Flow Velo. Lots of fun! Thanks to Andrea and Dominic.

Antoine and Corrine are very welcoming and were very responsive during our stay. They accepted our dog without any issues which proves their kindness. Very well maintained home and garden. Excellent nearby restaurants. We recommend it 100%! Thanks to them.

Small quiet and peaceful village, perfect for recharging and resting. Nice house with all amenities surrounded by a beautiful garden. We were also able to enjoy a very nice indoor pool. Recommended for people who love nature.

Alfie and I had a great time at Lee's immaculate courtyard cottage while house hunting in the area. Communication was excellent from beginning to end. A lovely, cosy place and a much appreciated and unexpected tipple awaited us after a long drive, which was very welcome! Nothing was too much trouble. The quality of decor and bed linen is first class. We are looking forward to our next stay again soon. Highly recommended.

We chose 'Le Manoir' for its setting and 'So British' decoration. We weren't disappointed! On the contrary, we immediately felt good in our vacation home. Thanks in particular to the details (old beds but excellent bedding), very well-equipped kitchen and what can I say about the magnificent bathroom!!!! We have only one small downside: the dishes for 6 people are a little tight. Scottie and Kerstie's hospitality and responsiveness are up to the task.

We rented the house for a group of 10 and everything went perfectly. The accommodation was exactly as described: very clean, well arranged and perfectly functional for a group stay. The host was extremely responsive, available throughout the stay, and very accommodating, including accepting a late checkout. We had a great time — I recommend it.

Clean, tidy "cabin spirit" accommodation. Bright, spacious, exotic accommodation. Many activities around to do such as visit the citadel and the city of Château d'Oleron, the beach and many paths in the woods.

Charming house in a very nice environment. Jannique is a very friendly host. Attentive and responsive, her explanations were clear, so our stay went perfectly. The house has a beautiful fully fenced garden, ideal for your children or pets. Come and recharge your batteries without hesitation!

Very well thought out accommodation, host very attentive to his guests, apparently very quiet as well as the hamlet, really a cozy little nest.

The location of this apartment is excellent. Very walkable to all areas of interest/inportance in La Rochelle including the Vieux-Port, aquarium, train station, Hôtel de Ville. The apartment is well furnished and it is great to have a private outdoor space as well as big windows looking out over the marina. The hosts are responsive and helpful if any issues or questions arise. The Café downstairs is also worth checking out. Definitely would recommend for your visit to La Rochelle!

Anne Marie is a generous and kind host. The gifts when we arrived were much appreciated. The house was very comfortable and the garden is beautiful. The road is quiet but within easy reach of the town centre. Having secure parking was very helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much and would return to the property without hesitation. Thank you.

The location of Benjamin’s place is ideal - safely contained in a very pretty complex of apartments with parking and easy access to the beach. Once inside, you would never know you are close to other apartments because it is quiet, well lit, and beautiful. The back garden at sunset is incredible. There were only two of us and our dog, but the apartment is stocked to be able to easily host a small family. It’s clean and organized with a spacious kitchen and a comfortable bed. We were met at the gate when we arrived, the key hand-off was friendly and quick. Check-out instructions were clear and we didn’t feel rushed at all. All in all, a great stay. We hope to return someday soon!
