Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Tacoma

Well designed place with modern feel. Close to downtown. Comfy beds and furnishings. Well stocked kitchen with everything we needed. Nice view of the water and ships. Craig was responsive and helpful. Despite being close to railway and attached rental the place was very quiet at night. Would definitely stay again.

My visit to Mary's "Tranquil Craftsman" cottage in Tacoma was altered last minute due to a family emergency but my grown daughter and her boyfriend were accompanying me- and had the pleasure of staying here. Per their report it is as beautiful as the pictures! Their words " the house was amazing, everything was super clean and cute. The backyard was awesome and the binder of information made the checking out process super easy. Mary had great recommendations for things to do and places to eat" Her house manual sets a high bar for Airbnbs, it was so thorough with information a traveler needs. I hope I have the pleasure next time of experiencing the "Tranquil Craftsman" in person!

This Airbnb was by far the best I've stayed at. The location was so fun. We could walk down to the water or the neighborhood. We felt safe and private and clean. The Airbnb itself was incredibly clean and inviting. This place is perfect for anyone who wants to get away and just sit peacefully or for anyone who is up and goer. The amenities were just what we needed and there is so much to do provided. There are games, puzzles, even TV, pretty much anything you are looking for a comfortable get away. The bed was comfortable and inviting. Even the pull-out bed on the couch was the most comfortable we've ever used, including ours at home. Everything is so close, grocery stores, downtown shops and restaurants, wine-tasting restaurant was just down the street. If you can't tell, my husband, mother and niece truly enjoyed this Airbnb. If we are back in the area, will definitely use this location again. Thank you for being such a wonderful host!!!

The stay at Aidan’s was a wonderful experience. I would stay there again without hesitation. Aidan was a fantastic host very responsive to all reach outs.

Spectacular home overlooking the water and Mt. Rainier from all three levels. Soothing and welcoming vibe in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Top caliber appliances and amenities with everything you would need – including Breville espresso machine and Sonos surround sound system. Lauren/Jeffrey were highly engaging with lightning-fast communication throughout our stay. It was bittersweet to leave this gorgeous place. We will return to this waterfront sanctuary or try Lauren/Jeffrey’s other oceanfront beach home in Westport next time.

Really nice stay in Ruston. Place was as described and very comfortable for our two couples. The clean and streamlined yet very well decorated interior really added to our enjoyment of our stay.

We enjoyed our stay at the groovy lagoon very much! The hosts thought of everything from spices to having a big bottle or olive oil on hand, umbrellas, lots of beach towels. The kayaks were great but one doesn’t have a back rest which makes for a tougher time relaxing on it. The deck is lovely and we spent a lot of time out there, it could use an outdoor sofa but I understand it rains and might get moldy. The living room was a little smaller than the pictures and just has a small seat and the couch. If our whole family was there we wouldn’t all fit in the couch. Overall we loved our stay here and even when it was windy out the deck is super protected and calm. The heated floor in the bathroom was nice as well. The bedding was nice. It’s actually a 10 min drive to gig harbor but we liked being away from the hustle of the harbor to be honest.

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb. The unit was clean, the location was peaceful, and to hosts were so friendly. We needed a relaxing stay, and that is what we got.

Another wonderful stay! This is my second time to enjoy these accommodations, and I’ll always stay here when I’m in the area. The bed is SO comfy, hot shower, coffee and sweet cream, chocolates, water bottles… just a great stay. Such a cute little apartment! 💗

We had a fantastic stay! The home had everything we needed: a full kitchen, clean bathroom, two comfy bedrooms, two cozy sitting rooms, and a washer/dryer—which was a huge help with our baby. It was fully stocked with fresh linens, towels, and blankets. The outdoor patio with a fire pit and stunning water views was a perfect place to relax. Jill and Gregg were wonderful hosts—warm, responsive, and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Jill even greeted us with homemade brownies and a bottle of wine! The house is family-friendly and included a pack and play, which made traveling with our 4-month-old so much easier. If you’re visiting the Fox Island or Gig Harbor area, don’t hesitate—this place is a gem. We would absolutely stay here again!

This place is my go to local escape. In the heart of downtown Puyallup, yet people walk by it all the time and never know it’s there. Lani is super responsive and genuine, and she is definitely one who cares about her guests experience. We will be back again.

This was my second time at the Woodsy Retreat and it was wonderful, again. Enjoyed a hike through the State Forest, the hot tub, and all the goodies and snacks! Perfect place to relax and get away from it all!

Julie's place was absolutely perfect! It had every amenity you could need, was super cute, wonderful neighborhood with a great park. Julie was also great with communication. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. The one thing i would note is that if you're like me and have sensory issues the noise from the tv upstairs might bother you. (I did not say anything about this to Julie because i know it's a me issue) if i ever come back that way which hopefully i will i would love to stay again. Everything was wonderful and you created the perfect home away from home. Every night we actually felt like we were going "home" thanks again for your hospitality!!

This house is incredible. The location is perfect, walking distance to many food and drink spots. There is an amazing coffee shop right on the corner. Sauna and soaking tub are relaxing. The house is clean and organized and has clear instructions. Hosts are helpful and knowledgable. Highly recommend!

Janice’s place was amazing! The view was beautiful, we only wished it rained a little less so we could sit outside and enjoy it. Her home was incredibly clean and had all the amenities we needed. Kitchen had all of the necessary cooking supplies - pots, pants, plates, utensils, etc. she also left some homemade granola and cookies for us- so delicious, thank you, Janice! There were extra blankets and an easy-to-use heating system for each room. Fast hot water! Bainbridge has a dial-a-ride sort of bus system, and the closest spot they could pick us up was at the top of the hill- about a five minute uphill walk. Something to keep in mind if you plan to use public transportation. It’s about a 10 minute drive to town. Driveway was a tad narrow with other vehicles to navigate around, so if you plan to bring more than one car or have a larger vehicle it might be a good idea to give Janice a heads up. I have a Honda CRV and was able to park just fine with ample room. We would stay again!

What a beautiful property! My friends and I had the best time enjoying the stunning views, gorgeous house and the relaxing hottub. It was perfect for a girl’s trip. The host was kind and helpful as well. We would love to come back someday!

This property was perfect for our group stay. The hosts were exceptionally responsive and helpful throughout our visit. The home comfortably accommodated everyone, and the outdoor area—with its spacious patio and beautiful view—was a highlight. The kids especially enjoyed the basketball court and various games available. Overall, a great experience—we would gladly return.

Daughter and I stayed here and completely fell in love with the house. Very nice layout and roomy, if you are staying at this house more than 1 night plan to cook . Kitchen is fully equipped with the essentials to host a BBQ or family casserole night. This was our first AIR B&B stay anywhere and let me tell you it's worth the money. Privacy we were able to take our doggo. Truly enjoyed it, Side note and it is probably me but this home has all of its bedrooms upstairs and someone who has had knee replacement and needing hip and back surgery it took a moment to get up and down the stairs. But it was worth it.

What a pleasure to stay at Deepankar's beautiful property! We stayed at this beautiful and unique house for a weekend getaway with my wife and extended family (with 2 small kids), and couldn't ask for a better place! We had friends visit us and overall it turned out to be an extremely fun weekend with great catch ups, conversation, laughter, and a lots of fun thanks to this amazing house and wonderfully serene surrounding!! The house offers a lot of cool nooks, including a wide view of the beautiful Case Inlet right from the living room, well stocked kitchen, comfy recliners, a nice Solarium, a movie theater, a small gym, several bathrooms, hot tub, and outdoor patio leading to a small trail to kayaks - too much to explore!! Deepankar & Whitney were extremely helpful, communicative, flexible, and responsive. Highly recommended for a family stay or solitary retreat alike to mingle or relax, in the lap of nature with glimpses of harbor seals, birds, & views of beautiful water and sky!

Ken's place is phenomenal! Joe, his contact, was Great and kept us informed before the trip. The home is more beautiful than the photos! It is new, clean, and was perfect for our family. Everything worked from all the lights/appliances/fireplace/toilets, etc. The location was great to get to local restaurants and shops walking. Trader joe's was just 0.7 miles away. 35 minute uber to SEA airport. Great to have AC/heat/fireplace. The outside patios offered great views of the Puget sound and mount Rainier. One of the best houses I have ever stayed in. A must to book if your going to Seattle!

This is our 2nd time staying at Dewen's place and we enjoyed it just as much as we did the first time. If we had known we'd need an Airbnb for as long as we do, we would have planned to stay here the entire time. It is easily walkable to Starbucks, Fred Myers and several restaurants (5 minutes). A slightly longer walk will take you to Gilman Village where there are restaurants, shops and Issaquah Coffee Company. The location is private, peaceful (there is noise from the freeway and larger roads nearby, but it was not at all a problem for us) and beautiful. We often saw deer in the yard and saw tons of different kinds of birds. I enjoyed just sitting on the deck relaxing in the beautiful surroundings and our dogs loved running around sniffing at the mole hills. The living/dining areas are very spacious, as is the master bedroom. There is an additional bedroom and a loft if you have a larger party. I would gladly stay here any time we need an Airbnb in the area.

Fantastic getaway location that offered tremendous privacy. Extremely spacious house that was even bigger than the pictures made it look. House had everything we needed from plenty of towels to soap/spices/basic amenities. For those coming in the winter months, be aware that the drive up is extremely steep and I would highly recommend 4 wheel drive if there is snow or ice. Rita was extremely proactive and responsive with her communication! Definitely worth the stay for a small group looking for a peaceful place to escape.
