Lovely old small stone cottage recently renovated to a high standard, located in a quiet hamlet within easy reach of the Wye Valley, Hereford and the Marches, Black Mountains and the Forest of Dean. The cottage is surrounded by woodland and nature with walks in every direction from your doorway. The village is accessed from a single track lane and is very rural and peaceful, yet only 4 miles from Monmouth. There are two working farms in the village and farm traffic can just occasionally be busy.

It's very well equipped to make your stay comfortable. The superking bed is so comfy. We can offer advice on places to visit, places to dine & there's lots of info/leaflets on local walks/cycle/ canoe hire etc. Come & stay & explore the beautiful Wye Valley in this peaceful spot. You won't be disappointed!

Country cottage with private woodland and orchard.

Our beautiful beamed attached cottage complete with log burner is set in over 3 acres of private ancient woodland, in the Forest of Dean near the River Wye. The garden path leads down to a secluded orchard which is a haven for birds, deer & wildlife. The cottage is located in a quiet country lane, with walks to our local pub, The Ostrich Inn and the local town. We are close to all amenities, cycle trails, river activities and the best of what the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley has to offer.

Pat's Flat: a converted Pig Barn located on a peaceful farm, within the beautiful Wye Valley AONB. The historic towns of Monmouth and Ross on Wye, the river and Forest of Dean with their outdoor leisure activities - canoeing, paddle boarding, hiking, biking - are easily accessible. A couple of pubs, eateries and village shop are within a few miles walk. Sorry - no pets - this is a working farm and there are friendly Labradors in the adjoining property who are likely to come and say hello.

Fallows Annexe is located in a walkers paradise just up the hill from Symonds Yat and just across the River Wye from the Forest of Dean. Well-behaved dogs/cats are welcome.

Victoria Cottage is located in an area renowned for outstanding natural beauty and is a great location for walkers, canoeists, climbers, cyclists and families. The cottage boasts a log fire, stunning views, hot tub hire, loan of bath robes and an array of current magazines. Two pubs, butterfly museum, mini arcade, crazy golf, boat rides and shop a are a short walk away from the cottage. Victoria Cottage was built 1700’s and so please understand that is quaint, quirky and very cosy.
