Lake side house rentals in Sylvan Lake

I was in town with my family for a wedding and we rented out Daniel’s place. Everything was as described but more. Daniel reached out on day of check in to make sure we got in easily and he was so responsive with any questions! There was a welcome card, snacks and candies which is such a great touch! The views are gorgeous as well and everyone around was so nice! Also, a nice touch was promoting the local soap business in the bathroom—I was able to go and pick some up before I went home! I would definitely stay here again!

Lacy's place is even better in person. It was so cozy. She had lots of little touches that made our stay better. We had so much fun with the kayaks, she had logs ready for a fire, lots of places to sit outside. Our family of four was very comfortable. We really appreciated the cold filtered water. The neighbors were all so nice and we even met several Amish families and saw many horse and buggy driving by. It was quite an amazing experience.

The cottage is spacious, clean, and tastefully and creatively decorated. There are lots of outdoor spaces to enjoy right on a peaceful lake. The host was very responsive to questions. All was as described and as shown in photos. Very nice!

This house was perfect for our final visit to Angola for my daughter’s Trine graduation. The house is beautiful, warm, cozy, well stocked and loaded with outdoor fun and games. We loved the closeness to the water and spent most of our time on the patio. The beds were super comfy and the bathrooms very clean. Traveling from Texas on a plane - I very much appreciated the supply of toiletries and basic kitchen necessities so we didn’t have to buy it and waste what we couldn’t bring home. Homeowners were extremely kind and communicative. Top notch all around. We will miss our Angola lake visits.

This was our third year back—perfect stay as always! Chris and Missy are wonderful hosts, the cottage is cozy, and the location can’t be beat!

Jim's place was a great spot to stay in North Webster-- right off of the lake, very comfortable, and everything you needed for a quiet, cozy weekend away. The area is very beautiful. Jim was also very helpful, provided good directions to the cottage, and responsive to any needs we had during the course of our stay.

We had an amazing weekend with family and 100% recommend David’s place! The house location was 10/10.. the lake is so relaxing. There were plenty of grocery options and some restaurants in town close by. We really enjoyed using the kayaks and paddle boards. There is plenty of space here so it was perfect for a large family gathering. Plenty of cooking utensils when we needed to make breakfast and grill! David was very responsive any time that we had questions. We had a great time.. thank you David!

We had a wonderful stay at Cook’s Cottage! We needed to get away from the hustle and bustle of our lives and this was perfect! Being on the lake was so quiet and peaceful! Very relaxing! And so beautiful! We were there 2 weeks before Memorial Day so it wasn’t busy at all…only a handful of people out on the lake so it was quiet and tranquil! Almost felt as if I was in a dream! The cottage was perfect for the 2 of us! Corey and Michelle did a great job remodeling the kitchen and updating the rest of the living space! Everything was sparkling clean and so quaint and cozy! And I LOVED that no pets were allowed which showed in how clean everything was! It was also awesome they let us use the condiments in the fridge and coffee so we didn’t have to go buy everything. We literally felt like we were staying in a friend’s home and not a rental! Corey and Michelle were so nice and helpful and we enjoyed getting to know them through the cooking class and boat tour! PS. Corey’s coffee was amazing!

It was such a beautiful stay. The back of the house faces the quiet channel in a circular view, which allows for a lovely view and breeze. The house had an inviting layout, great for our family vacation. The shed in the back was accommodating with lots of water toys, especially for kids. There is a little private and very clean beach area that was great for the kids as well. We look forward to coming back!

Beautiful, beautiful location. The lake view from the living room windows is amazing. It’s a very easy walk to the little beach, but the dock area right off the house is also shallow enough to wade. The included amenities are above and beyond to help you make the most of your time there and really enjoy the lake life.

I loved staying at Sharon's place. It was cozy and comfortable. I love when a host does the "little things" for their guests such as the Dr. Teal's lotion and bubble bath, make-up towels, toys for the little ones etc. I felt very safe, and the peace and serenity were what I was looking for with this get-away. We ate at Destination 814 and it was delicious. We also drove down to Shipshewana and enjoyed shopping and picking up some local desserts. All around great host and great trip.

This place was amazing for our family vacation. The goal was to spend family time together & there was plenty for us all to do. Lots of outdoor activities in nature! The beach was great for adult hang-out & games of spike ball (which we brought), & fun in the sand for the kids. Loved our pontoon boat rides & campfires as well. The indoor pool was great anytime day & night & was always a good back up in case it we had rain. The common areas were large enough for us to all have space & there was plenty of sleeping room. We had an amazing time & will definitely revisit. Ryan was courteous & quick to respond. Absolutely loved this trip!

Beautiful home, they were so helpful accommodating my messed up work schedule.. the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. Definitely going to come back and recommend this home to everyone!

We had a great stay at Micaiah and Anna’s. The home is cozy, comfortable and spacious. They were quick to respond with any questions and accommodating. They also provided us with the local marina to book a boat for the weekend. We had a wonderful time on the lake.

The place is beautiful. I loved the little touches, like the coffee grinder and fresh beans! It was a perfect weekend and our group would love to come back!

We booked last minute due to other plans falling through due to floods in Kentucky. Jo was amazing and got us booked quickly. The cottage was comfortable. The lake was beautiful and peaceful. We will be returning when it's warm. We had an enjoyable trip exploring Shipshewana. We read in the sunroom and loved relaxing with a beautiful view. Thank you Jo for hosting us!

The cottage has become my favorite local getaway. The atmosphere always feels light and it’s cozy in every way. The hosts are always responsive, down to earth and helpful. The cottage is thoughtfully planned for a stay. The kitchen is well equipped with anything you might need to make a full meal. The property is beautiful and peaceful. Also the view from the living/dining is amazing. It’s farmland but so picturesque! The beds are comfortable and the place is CLEAN. Which I appreciate so much! I can’t say enough good about the cottage! My friends that have come with me love it and say they will be coming back also. This definitely checks the boxes on a nice peaceful getaway. Thanks James and Jourdan for always giving us a great getaway! We will be back :)

We had a great stay at this air BnB. All pictures were as listed and met all of our expectations. I would recommend this unit to anyone looking for an Air BnB in the Lagrange area.

Catfish Cottage was more than advertised because of the beautiful outdoor area with lake access. We immediately requested two additional nights after arrival and were thrilled to be able to book them. The two decks with ample seating plus the lower patio in the yard provided so much space to enjoy. We used the charcoal grill and outdoor fire pit. The cottage is very comfortable for four adults and we liked having the separation of upstairs and downstairs bedrooms. The beds are comfortable with plenty of extra blankets provided. The hosts who live next door were nice enough to come say hello on our last day. We enjoyed hearing about the history of their property and how Catfish Cottage came to be! Recommendations for the area: We rented a pontoon boat for the whole day which was located just down the road and already in the water. Definitely recommend the Back Roads Tavern located one mile from the cottage for eating out option.

We had a beautiful, peaceful stay at Karissa’s cabin. Lots of natural lighting, spacious unit, and lovely amenities like WiFi, jacuzzi, kitchen appliances, and washer/dryer. There are a lot of nearby stores for any last minute groceries or shopping. The views were absolutely stunning. I would recommend staying here and would absolutely come back again but in the warmer season to explore that trails here! Thank you for having us at your cabin! We had such a nice, relaxing stay.

This was exactly the place I had hoped it would be. The surroundings were beautiful and peaceful. We didn't use any of the water toys due to it being cold, but the view was enough to have a great time. The place actually exceeded my expectations. It looks even better in person than in the pictures. I appreciated the book with recommendations for places to eat as well as things to do. It was a nice touch.
