Enjoy a nostalgic experience at this centrally located home that was built in 1954. My wife and I have furnished it with a touch of modern mid century charm. There is ample parking in front of the house and we are across the street from Hy-Vee grocery. At the opposite end of the house in what was the original garage is my one chair salon called Headlines. It has a separate entrance and please be assured that you will not be disturbed by the business activity. We look forward to your visit!

Joel’s apartment was exactly what my boys and I needed during our recent trip home to visit family. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly spacious. With street parking available right out front and being located in right off the south side of the town square, we could walk to shops/restaurants on the square or be to my parents in minutes.

Wonderful location! Across from a beautiful park, but still very quiet if you work night shift and need to sleep during the day. Very clean and comfortable house with plenty of room. We loved having 2 living rooms to choose between and the kitchen was nice and big. Elvin & Rachel were wonderful hosts and very responsive to any needs or questions that we had. We will definitely stay here again if we have the opportunity. There are also some great bulk food and grocery stores in the local area along with a wonderful creamery.

Whitetail Country Lodge - "Nestled in SE Iowa"

Zana and her daughter were so friendly, super responsive and Whitetail Lodge was the perfect place for our group of 18 to be together over Christmas. Zana decorated it all up for the holiday and had special little treats around for us too. The Lodge has more than enough tables, crockpots, pans and pots to put out quite a spread! There are games and activities for everyone and the bed rooms accommodate privacy, and the bunkhouse downstairs was the prefect "man cave experience" for all of the boys. The property is beautiful, and taking walks and hiking through the trees felt so adventurous to the 2 and 3 year old. Seeing the wildlife was a plus too! I would highly recommend staying here and we will hopefully be back to celebrate another year!
