nice place for short stay on the road to north Sweden. And the freshly collected honey tasted marvelous.

Katarina is an amazing host who is kind, showed us around, gave us tips and was very helpful at all times. The cottage was magical, exactly as described. We spent the most of the time grilling outside the cottage with the lake view. It was a really relaxing weekend and we definitely recommend Katarina as a host! Thank you so much for your hospitality!

Another wonderful stay with Krister and Karin and I felt rightback at home. They always give many local recommendations and take great care of the house and their guests. It's the perfect place to escape life for a while and enjoy a quiet, peaceful atmosphere.

Nu er det 2. gang at vi har været hos Karolina. Igen et hyggeligt ophold i det Svenske. Deter et lille hyggeligt sted med veludstyret køkken og en god seng. Vi kan helt klart anbefale stedet.

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit bei Carl-Magnus. Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön gelegen und die Sonnenuntergänge konnten wir direkt auf der Terrasse geniessen.

Es war ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt in Hildas Cottage. Die Sauna ist das absolute Highlight, wir können einen Aufenthalt empfehlen! :)

Our stay at this unforgettable Airbnb on Varholma was truly a dream come true. Nestled in a peaceful and remote location, it offered the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life—a true haven for slowing down and reconnecting with nature. The house itself is beautifully and thoughtfully designed, with cozy Scandinavian interiors and so much attention to detail. Every corner feels warm, inviting, and filled with love. Whether it’s raining or the sun is shining, this place offers the perfect atmosphere to relax and unwind. And the sunsets? Simply breathtaking. Sitting outside in the evening, watching the sky turn golden over the water, was an experience we’ll never forget. We can’t recommend this magical spot enough!

The view is absolutely fantastic. We really enjoyed the stay at Dan's place. It's quiet and has everything we need. Based on Dan's recommendation, we went to Visingso island and Omberg for hiking, which was also really nice. The sauna room was a big plus as well. The only small issue is that the cabin is a little congested for a 4-people family like ours. But it's still manageable.

Jag träffade värden Mona och hunden som var mycket trevliga och tillmötesgående. Huset var hur mysigt som helst! Allt finns som man behöver även om jag fick leta lite efter besticken som låg i en liten mer dold låda överst. :-))). Vill du komma till ett tyst, avskilt och vackert ställe så ska du åka hit.

We had a truly lovely stay at this charming little cabin on a peaceful farm with chickens roaming freely — it felt like a classic Swedish countryside movie, almost like “Emil of Lönneberga.” Kerstin was incredibly kind and welcoming, and we felt right at home. The cabin is decorated with great care — cozy and a bit nostalgic, like staying at grandma’s (in the best way!). It was slightly less modern than the photos suggested, but full of charm. Just to note: the kitchen and bathroom are in a separate building a few meters away — not a problem, but good to know. Everything was clean and well equipped. We noticed a little forest debris under the mattress, but otherwise spotless. Wonderfully quiet, remote, and even deer in the woods — a beautiful countryside retreat!

Michelle and Peter are great people and went the extra mile to make sure my stay was perfect. The cabin is in a beautiful area full of peaceful and beautiful nature. A great place to reset.

Detta var andra gången vi besökte denna fina och välutrustad stuga på ett lugnt och helt magiskt läge mitt i skogen. Vacker natur med bäck och vattendrag, grillplats och vedeldad badtunna. En stillsam och avkopplande vistelse. Rekommenderar verkligen detta boende!

Ist ideal für jeden, der die Ruhe in der Natur direkt an einem großen See sucht und vor einem einfacheren Leben für einige Tage nicht zurückschrecken. Und die Sauna ist ein Muss aus unserer Sicht.

Great stay in Joel’s place, natural and quiet. Our kids like all those elements, animals, BBQ, swing, climb, rapeseed flower, small road in the countryside, lake and so on. Highly recommended.

Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an zu Hause gefühlt. Lillstugan war mit vielen Details liebevoll ausgestattet und dekoriert. Die Betten sind super bequem, allerdings nur über eine steile Treppe erreichbar. Kein Problem, das wussten wir ja vorher. Lina und die Mädchen haben uns sehr freundlich empfangen. Die ganze Familie war immer offen und ansprechbar, einfach nett. Wir können diese Unterkunft uneingeschränkt empfehlen.
