Vacation rentals with lake access in Sweden

We had an absolutely wonderful and relaxing stay at Susanna and Krister's listing. The decor was welcoming and beautifully curated. The outdoor spaces were little slices of heaven we were eager to enjoy. Susanna and Krister were lovely and attentive hosts and we would love to stay here again!

Wir waren zu zweit im Haus von Ingrid und haben die Zeit dort sehr genossen! Es gibt eine holzbefeuerte Sauna und einen gemütlichen Kamin. Die Umgebung ist ruhig und im Sommer üppig grün, mit Weidetieren vor der Nase. Die Strasse vor dem Haus ist nicht besonders stark befahren und hat uns wenig gestört. In der Küche haben wir alle Utensilien gefunden, die wir gebraucht haben und das Bad ist modern. Wir würden das Haus wieder buchen, Ingrid ist eine tolle Gastgeberin.

We stayed in the house for 6 days with my spouse and our child, and we were extremely satisfied with everything. One of the highlights was the stunning sea view — enjoying our morning coffee while looking out at the water was such a peaceful start to the day. The jacuzzi was also a great touch — clean, relaxing, and perfect for unwinding after a long day. The house was very clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. It’s located in a quiet and peaceful area, which made it ideal for spending quality family time. The host was also very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, it was a wonderful experience that exceeded our expectations in terms of comfort and atmosphere. We would definitely recommend it to anyone, especially families

Beautiful house in Falun. We loved the deck, sauna, and lake. Mattias let us use his boat and was a great and helpful host. Wonderful place to stay!

Jack and Maria were wonderful, attentive hosts, with a beautiful property. Maria kindly warmed the sauna up upon our arrival and we were able to swim in the lake shortly after upon her guidance. The house is lovely and is connected very well to the city centre by the ferry which we loved, alongside great trails for running and walking. Jack and Maria were also kind enough to let us check out late - all of which was greatly appreciated. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Wir waren für eine Woche zu Gast im Haus von Susan und Greg. Die beiden waren überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend und durch die kleinen Gespräche zwischendurch hat man sich umso wohler gefühlt. Das Haus selber ist liebevoll und umfassend eingerichtet. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. In ca. 15 Minuten ist man in der Stadt Ljungby und findet dort alles, was man an Nahversorgung benötigt. Vor Ort gibt es ausreichend Wandermöglichkeiten. Der angrenzende See kann per Boot befahren und wohl auch beangelt werden. Am Ende kann ich nur sagen, dass wir alle uns sehr wohl gefühlt haben und gerne wiederkehren, wenn es uns wieder in Richtung Ljungby zieht.

Z czystym sumieniem polecam pobyt u Marianne! Wszystko zgodnie z opisem, czysty, zadbany dom, super jacuzzi i sauna. Marianne i Lars są bardzo miłymi ludźmi, którzy przywitali nas osobiście. Polecam!

Very nice place near the Stockholm centre. Apartment is large enough with all appliances. only thing missing is a mounted tv, otherwise everything is how it is described. Beautiful Sofo old town is nearby with lot of bars and cafes. Nice parks to walk and enjoy the views and nature.

Just the perfect place to settle in, quiet and calm and cozy. The home is so well appointed with natural fibers stone and materials, with art and design. It is a taste of Swedish culture in practice. If you are tired of staying in airbnb's that feel souless bland & vacant, this place is for you.

It was very nice to stay in Lenas Appartement. She is a super friendly hosts! I head a great time :) The beautiful nature made it easy to relax and feel even more comfortable :)

Wir waren 10 Tage in der wunderschönen Unterkunft. Die Lage ist fantastisch. Zwei traumhafte Seen in Wurfnähe, die man direkt zu Fuß erkunden kann. Das Haus ist einfach unglaublich schön. Jedes Detail ist durchdacht, man fühlt sich einfach willkommen - alles ist so vorbereitet als ob man bei Freunden zu Besuch ist. Vielen Dank dafür! 🍀

Schöne Unterkunft direkt am See mit eigenem kleinen elektrischen Boot. Wunderbare Aussicht von der Terrasse. Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an unglaublich wohl gefühlt. Die Lage ist total idyllisch und einfach perfekt, um mal runterzukommen. Der Blick aufs Wasser, besonders am Morgen, aber eigentlich den ganzen Tag über, war immer wieder schön. Perfekt zum Abschalten und Durchatmen. Der kleine Bootsausflug war ein echtes Highlight, genau wie der Whirpool und die Sauna, gerade bei dem regnerischen Wetter. Fast wie ein kleiner Spa-Wellness-Tag. Auch der Wintergarten war total gemütlich. Wir haben dort viel gespielt und einfach entspannt. Alles ist liebevoll gestaltet, durchdacht und sehr gepflegt. Fredrik und Patrik sind tolle Gastgeber, sie haben immer schnell reagiert, waren super hilfsbereit und herzlich. Wir haben uns rundum gut aufgehoben gefühlt und kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder. Small paradise in the middle of Swedish nature. Jennifer and Linus are lovely and friendly people who let us enjoy their nice guest house with sauna, jetty and a kanoe. I hope to come back some time again.

This cozy boathouse is wonderful. All the pictures and the description correspond to reality. Super equipment as well. The sauna is a cool goodie! :) The communication with Fia , Martin or Lynn was friendly and easy, there was always someone available. Fia also gave us tips for the surrounding area! A great place to spend a break in wintry Sweden and relax for a few days! We even saw the northern lights on new years eve! :) We will definitely come back one day.

Vi hade en jättetrevlig vistelse hos Steen och Karen-Helle! Huset ligger avsides bakom en kulle så man är helt fri från vägar och grannar. Från den stora uteplatsen har man grym utsikt över sjön. Rustik känsla men med alla moderniteter man behöver (snabbt internet, ljudsystem, smart-TV, etc). Gott om sovplatser. Stort plus för det rymliga och välutrustade köket + 3 grillar som vi kunde laga rejäla middagar i! Vi tyckte kanske att 1€/ved till spis/bastu var lite dyrt, men det blev inte så mycket sånt för oss ändå så det spelade inte så stor roll.

Our stay with Elizabeth and Jörgen was really amazing amidst of gorgeous nature and a lake on walking distance where you can take a nice swim. They are super friendly and welcoming, also for our dog. They have a garden where we could pick some beautifully grown lettuce. And when you are lucky there is homemade bread/Swedish cinnamon buller or even local dinner that we could eat in the romantic glass garden house. All prepared with love, you can taste it :) I also really enjoyed the neighbours horses that are curious and love to eat some grass from your hand. Altogether a perfect stay with some beautiful hiking opportunities and cozy home that facilitates everything. Thanks!

This house was even better than expected and advertised! We loved how spacious and yet cozy the house was. The property is very private and quiet, the sauna and boat worked perfectly and everything was very clean. We used the fireplace a lot, all of the firewood was provided. Also, the kitchen was very well equipped, we didn’t lack anything. Jonas was very kind and helping, was always available for questions and helping out. We would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking for a good getaway with friends or family!
