Very nice, gated, cozy, loved the hot shower with great pressure after all day hiking.

We had an amazing time on our trip and we're able to relax at the end of our days at the house. Every room had an amazing deck with a breath taking view and so much natural light. We all slept amazing as well in comfy beds. Defiantly would book here again!

Enjoyed a nice weekend at this location, easily located in smoky mtn country club. Only a short drive to cherokeee and the casino. Very nice and well kept house for you and your guest.

An excellent spot for enjoying the Nantahala National Forest, as well as having ample room and accomodations for guests and vehicles.

This is our second trip to the Majestic. Our family loves this home! We always have the best time!

Clint and Hannah were a joy to have as hosts! The welcome sign was a great surprise for our daughter. This house was pretty well stocked,cleanly and cozy. The amenities were loved, especially the birthday girl and siblings! This house will now hold extra joy, love and laughter . We highly suggest this rental and will be personally renting in the future.

The unit is just as described in the pictures as well. It looks great. My only issue is that it is on the first floor and there are neighbors upstairs. It was no where in the description. I would not have booked it because I am a light sleeper. The upstairs neighbors made noise starting at four in the morning and it went until 1130 every night so I did not sleep well either of the nights we were there unfortunately

We had a wonderful time at Powell Farm! There was plenty of room for 6 adults and 3 little ones. We spent plenty of time enjoying the pool and spacious sun room.

This was such a sweet stay and we wish we could have stayed longer! Beautiful location - my husband enjoyed fly fishing during the day on the water and I was only 20 minutes from kayaking at the NOC. The house was very clean - tidy bathroom and kitchen with all your basics stocked to get you started. Hot tub was lovely and very clean! There is a steeper drop off next to the outside firepit so I would be mindful with little children. Easy check in and they were very flexible and responsive when we had some crazy weather pop up nearby. We will be back again and hopefully stay a little longer!

Great place to stay. Perfect size for three people, and includes a pull out sofa which was more comfortable than expected. There is also a heated/air-conditioned 4-seasons room off the front bedroom that could accommodate an inflatable mattress if need be. Direct access to the Lake in the Sky is wonderful and so peaceful. If it has been raining or rain is expected, make sure to bring your mud boots, as the path to the dock can get pretty swampy. Overall a great experience and we will definitely be coming back!

We really enjoyed our stay at Rachel’s place. Though it is conveniently close to the entrance to the Smokies, it is in a peaceful, private setting with a beautiful garden. The porch has a wonderful wooded view and the sounds you hear are the birds and the nearby creek. A lovely place to sit in the evening or with your morning coffee. The cottage is comfortable, clean, and well equipped. We most highly recommend and would definitely stay there again!

The home is beautiful and was in pristine condition. Beautiful location with the farm animals across the road. We truly enjoyed our stay there.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cozy cottage. We felt very safe and very welcome. Thoughtful touches were everywhere, not least of which was a wonderful rainfall showerhead and up-to-date washer and dryer. There was good coffee and bottled water provided. We lacked for nothing! Peaceful, private, fresh mountain air, everything we needed.

We stayed a Victor's for two nights during the Memorial Day weekend. The house is amazing!! Pristine and private. Many local breweries and restaurants (Bryson City Outdoors; Mountain Layers Brewery; and Anthony's Derailed) are within an easy walk. We will definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay at Whisper of Himalaya. We were in town for our child to attend orientation at WCU. With a packed agenda, we weren’t looking to spend top dollar for mountaintop views or luxury accommodations—we just wanted something safe, nice, and centrally located. That’s exactly what we found here. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. We were basically right in the middle between the WCU campus and downtown Sylva, with Walmart just down the road in case we needed any last-minute items for our child to settle in on campus. If that sounds like what you're looking for, look no further.

As always, Cheryl is a wonderful host. She is so receptive to your needs and always communicates quickly. The Mountain Craftsman home is quaint and pretty secluded, well taken care of. We always enjoy our time there.

We had a wonderful time here and enjoyed it so much. The private lake was beautiful, places to walk , boat ramps and fishing close by. This place made us feel right at home. We plan to come back

We had an incredible stay at this mountain retreat! The home was tucked away in a quiet, private location—perfect for getting away from it all and enjoying some peace and quiet. The views of the mountains were breathtaking, especially during sunrise and sunset. The house itself was spacious and well-equipped, with plenty of room for our entire family to spread out and relax. The bedrooms were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals together, and the living area was great for gathering in the evenings. There was even space for the kids to play without feeling cramped. We loved sitting out on the deck with a cup of coffee in the morning and winding down around the fire pit at night. If you’re looking for a peaceful, family-friendly place in the mountains that still gives you all the comforts of home, this is it.

We have been campers in past years but since we are now OLD we prefer staying in homes. Over the past few years we have stayed in quite a few, however, we have never stayed in one where it seemed a lot of thought had gone into providing everything needed or wanted. Rita has thought of EVERYTHING! It's the little things that make a difference. Example: The last one we stayed in had one small towel rack in the bathroom and none of the over-the-door hangers. These are very inexpensive and would have made a big difference. There were flower arrangements all over the place and it was just a very comfortable place to be. There were six of us, four of whom are over 80. We were there for a Bluegrass Festival so we didn't have a lot of time just to be there and enjoy the home but maybe next time we will. There is even a covered area for parking the cars and another one for cooking out Thank you Rita for providing such a beautiful home in such a beautiful setting.

Wonderful spot near the creek, in the top scores for one of the cleanest places, thoughtful art works throughout the home, comfortable and clean beds, kitchen has ample counter tops and dishware all real fine. Appreciated all that went in to creating the house and surroundings a pleasant and uplifting homebase. Katharine has the communication piece down with frequent and helpful information about places in the area to view, play in, and eat or buy food. For 3 of us from mid 70's to 80's the place was fun and relaxing and we all say big thanks to Katharine and the crew creatively worked on the cottage. Definitely would recommend to others and would stay again if in the same area.

This is the kind of place AirBnb was made for. Such a homey space with unique style and personal touches. We enjoyed disconnecting and relaxing inside and out during our stay. The place was well kepted and well equipped for a laid-back long weekend. It was clearing kept clean and tidy but it did have a strong musty smell when we arrived. It mostly aired out after a day with the windows open, but I have to warn others as I know it can be a big issue for some. However, my husband, pups, and I wouldn't pass up the chance to stay again when we want to visit Lake Fontana.

Looking for a private mountain top escape? This fits the bill! Beautiful views are a given. The house is comfortable with plenty of room to spread out. My kids were disappointed it wasn’t a full size pool table but still played several games. I’d caution anyone without 4 wheel drive not to try the driveway during the winter months or even very rainy times. We had a great time hiking nearby trails, hanging out at the house, and enjoying the peace of the mountain. There were a couple maintenance issues but we asked they be solved after we left. Our host was always quick to answer any questions and was helpful. We enjoyed our stay!
