Great location on the bay. clean and comfortable.

I appreciated the host's responsiveness. We used the bikes and beach supplies in the shed - all were very nice to have access to. We also liked the nearby bike trail. The location was great because we like going to Cape Henlopen for the beach dyring the dat and Rehoboth for the boardwalk in the evening. We appreciated seeing the Bible verses around the cottage - and even one in the shed! 🙂 This made us feel more at ease. It is located in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. There were a few widespread power outages during our stay - and the host was very helpful with reporting it and also keping us updated until the power was on again. Although this was not at all their fault...they still were in communication with us and were accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay, overall. Not one complaint. We would highly recommend the host and this cottage. Great place overall.

There are many nice features about the rental. Being by the Beach, the living spaces are on the second and third floor, so the dumbwaiter is helpful to transfer your luggage items to the top floors. With board games, bumper pool, shuffle board, arcade, 2 TV areas, large dining table and roof deck, there is plenty of entertainment in the house and plenty of nooks for everyone to occupy. All the bathrooms are inside the bedrooms except one. Roof deck has a great view of sunrise and sunset. On the ground floor, there are beach chairs, wagon, and kayaks available. We were there for Memorial weekend and horseshoe crabs were supposed to be beaching to mate at high tide, but unfortunately we didn't catch them at the right time. We still saw plenty of crabs and collected plenty of shells. The beach access is easy and feels so private. we love being away from the crowd. Rehoboth, Lewey, and Cape Henlopen state Park are only a short drive away for half day excursions. We all loved this trip!

We loved staying here for our family getaway! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. Added bonus that beach chairs and umbrellas are available so we didn't need to bring ours! It was clean and beautifully decorated. The location was peaceful and the scenery was breathtaking. Janna was very responsive to any concerns or needs. We would love to stay here again! highly recommend!

Serena was great to deal with and communicated effectively with us. Unfortunately, the weekend was rainy weather, but the neighborhood amenities were able to keep our young children entertained. The neighborhood is very friendly and all the neighbors were pleasant. We look forward to staying here again in the future.

We had an excellent stay at Joseph's place! The location, in a small gated community, surrounded by trees was exceptionally peaceful and the others in the neighborhood offered friendly waves whenever we passed. The cottage was extremely cozy (two sets of comfortable sofas, a comfortable bed) and expertly equipped (i.e. full set of cookware, can opener, orange juice and creamer) and thoughtfully designed (washer dryer, front porch with chairs, fire pit in back). The extra, extra plus for us was that we could bring our dog. The location is ideal 20 mins from Lewes, 25 minutes from Rehobeth, and 40 minutes from Bethany Beach - tons to explore, especially outdoors. Joseph was very proactive (gate instructions in advance, for example) and responsive (friendly tone, responded within minutes to each question). Would recommend highly and without reservations!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay in Mike’s home in Lewes. From the moment we booked, Mike went above and beyond with clear and thoughtful instructions, and his recommendations for local amenities and town highlights were incredibly helpful. The house itself was spotless, cozy, and truly felt like a home away from home. I’ve honestly never slept better—everything about the space made us feel instantly comfortable and relaxed. Mike also stocked the house with so many thoughtful touches that made our stay even easier: cleaning supplies, basic cooking essentials like oils and spices, plenty of paper products, and even Pyrex storage containers. These were meaningful extras that made a big difference. I cannot wait to stay here again—it was a perfect getaway in every sense!

Awesome location with modern amenities and all the things you need for a laid back family beach vacation. Our fur babies loved it almost as much as we did!

Our stay was perfect! We had a wedding to go to while down there and everything was no more than 30 minutes from us. Cindy and Dave were fantastic and friendly. They made us feel right at home. The house was in the perfect location and made us feel right at home. Would recommend this place to everyone.

Great place to stay, felt very safe and was quiet and relaxing! We had plenty of space in the house for everyone to stay comfortably and took full advantage of the bikes and kayaks. Dave was extremely responsive and took the time to check in with us each day of our visit!

Had a great couple of days here with our outsized chocolate lab! Everything you would need is provided including a friendly welcome!
