Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Suriname

Clea and Mitchel are great hosts. They are very easygoing, respectful, help a lot in unexpected situations. They are very kind. The place is amazing, very close to amazon jungle, the area is calm, quiet, you can walk a lot. you can count on them with shuttle help to airport. I wanna go back one day.

If you are looking for peace, a beautiful green environment and a good host who will show you the way (should you need it) then this is definitely recommended. Commewijne is by far my favorite place to stay in Suriname, and especially Jagtlust. It's really beautifully green. If you want to go to the city center... you will be there in no time (20/30 min drive). What makes the stay (and the location) so special is that there are monkeys (and many more exotic animals). Very impressive. In short, highly recommended!!

My stay was pleasant! A good location if you want food places nearby. Furthermore, the house was neat and equipped with everything! I'd like to come back!

Freank is really a superhost. Very friendly. During our stay, he really picked up and arranged things right away. As far as I'm concerned, he deserves 6 stars. The house itself is in a nice and quiet location, plenty of iguanas and birds to see. However, it takes a little longer than we thought to get into the city center, soon three quarters of an hour. But with your own transport, it's easy to do and wonderful to relax here at the end of the day. Convenient that there are two supermarkets nearby. The house is decorated slightly differently than in the pictures (bedrooms white bare walls and there other furniture). Very nice shower and also the extra separate fan works well. We enjoyed our visit to Suriname here and recommend this location if you are looking for something here!

Communication was top notch. Host also gave recommendations about the neighborhood. House is very spacious and quiet area. My family enjoyed very much. Thank you so much!

**Great stay with Ivonne and Robbert!** We enjoyed 11 days in the beautiful house *Jade*. Ivonne and Robbert were great hosts: welcoming, attentive and always available. The house is spacious, sparkling clean and stylishly furnished, with all the necessary appliances. The bathroom with hot water was a pleasure! The 8 dogs took some getting used to, but very sweet. Although we were little by the river, we enjoyed from the kitchen bar of nature: we saw birds, monkeys and even a sloth! The busy road sometimes caused some noise, but the peace and beauty of the area more than made up for it. A fantastic place with top hosts – 10/10, absolutely recommended!

The best place I have been in Suriname The owners are verry kind , and the worker is a verry Goodman !

I spent a week here and it was a great experience. The room is quite large with a separate kitchen/enclosed balcony sort of space with a hammock. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you would need. There is also a private patio as well. It was the perfect spot to relax. The area is nice and safe. Its a little hard to get around by foot because of how the streets are set up throughout the city. But there are shops and restaurants you can walk to. After a couple days, I rented a bicycle and it made everything super easy, the streets are very flat and easy to ride on.

Second time we stayed here. Definitely recommended!

Perfect location if you want to explore Paramaribo. The apartment is well kept and cozy. Everything is just as advertised, will definitely stay again when I return.

I had a wonderful stay at M’s place! The apartment was clean and spacious for two, making it feel very welcoming and comfortable. The space was well-equipped with all the essentials I needed. The location was fantastic—close to major attractions and convenient public transportation, which made exploring the city so easy. (Renting a car would be recommended). What really stood out was M's hospitality. She was very responsive and provided helpful local tips that enhanced my experience. The communication was seamless from booking to checkout. Overall, this was a perfect home away from home. I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting the area and would happily stay here again on my next trip!

The location was exactly as described in a quiet and safe environment. The communication was clear from the beginning and all questions were answered. Friendly welcome from the host Julian who answered all questions and provided clarity. I was able to sign in earlier than the usual check in time. Received with a richly stocked fridge of varied drinks. Very nice and convenient alarm system. Equipped with all the comforts. If there is something, however small, Julian came right up. Great! I would book again in a heartbeat.

My stay at Jeroen’s place was great. The flat was very comfortable. I asked for a few random things at times during my stay and within a very very short space of time he arranged everything. I highly recommend staying here if you have the opportunity.

Extremely good price-quality ratio. The apartment is in a quiet, secure neighborhood. By taxi or private transport you are quickly in the city center. The house is luxurious, spacious and very comfortable due to all amenities.

What a great stay! There were groceries & a breakfast spot in close walking distance & M was very responsive and friendly, I’ll definitely return when I come back to Suriname.

Jacintha was very friendly and helpful especially when offering guidance on navigating the local landscape. It was noted that works have been done to improve the place and more works planned to increase comfort for anyone staying even with all of this the stay was comfortable I felt like I was home.

The accommodation was beautiful and clean. We enjoyed the pool and the beds were very soft. The air conditioning in the rooms are also really great and do it excellently. Communication with the host was very good, she responded quickly and was very friendly. We have not been bothered by the fact that they stayed upstairs. Nothing else to criticize. A great stay!!
