House vacation rentals in Sunset Key

We had a great stay! House was neat and tidy and in a great location.

AMAZING home away from home ! My family had a wonderful time where we made incredible memories ! The house had all the comforts of home and we simply enjoyed our relaxing vacation !

It’s awesome. The additional fees are worth it. The community is great and the commitment to keeping the neighborhood classy is excellent.

Fantastic place for a home base while the beautiful keys. Close enough to key west for an upbeat day, very quiet in the evening. If anything, I’d say I was expecting less from the description and was very surprised at how nice this place is. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Marcela's place was exactly as described and very clean. One master bedroom with master bath, and another bedroom with a twin/trundle bed, and sofa in living room. Kitchen had good amenities with cutlery and glasses, etc. We didn't use the washer but the dryer was very handy for drying bath towels and pool towels. We sat outside in the back yard the first night and heard a mysterious animal call, we thought it was a bird but then using google we found out it was a tokay gecko! So cool. We used the large saltwater pool which was very very nice. It's just a short drive to several great restaurants in neighboring keys, and we made a day trip to Key West which was awesome! I recommend Tonio's Seafood Shack & Tiki Bar, great key lime pie. Forks & Stix is a great little sushi place with great lemonade, Island Fish Company in Marathon had a great outdoor vibe right on the water. Best beach is Bahia Honda State Park. Note there is a $125 community fee upon check-in to the resort.

Susan’s place was exactly as described. The water view from the top deck was a wonderful place to have my cup of coffee every morning. I would highly recommend this place.

The house was very cozy and a nice place to come home to after a hot day in Key West. The kitchen appliances were nice, the community pool and sports areas were enjoyable and we had a great time riding the bikes around the neighborhood. Overall a cute, relaxing and refreshing space to spend time with family.

Bonnie was a nice, responsive host and even brought us additional kayaks to use. We had a great stay!

The cabin was cozy and super cute. It was impeccably clean. I only stayed one night but wish I stayed longer. She had all the necessary amenities. I didn’t get to use the patio since I mostly stayed out on the boat but wish I had more time to do so. Kristin had board games, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, blow dryer, washer, dryer and everything you would want in an AirBNB. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and the supermarket wasn’t too far. I felt safe in the neighborhood. I hope to come back and stay here again!

We had a great long weekend at Alex house! You are provided with a starter kit, so you may need to buy extra supplies if planning to stay in at property. House vibes are very keywest. Winn Dixie very close and Bahia Honda state park was close by and beautiful to spend the day if looking for something to do. Keywest about 40 min drive, easy to get around. Had plenty of blankets, pillows and accommodated 10 of us— we did bring an air mattress which I would recommend as sofa beds are not the most comfortable. Has a beautiful backyard which we spent a lot of time on and yummy walkable restaurant. Plenty of parking. Host was very responsive and checked in with us to make sure check in was smooth.

We spent a month at this beautiful home. From open water the view, to the boating access, the amazing sunset and the pool, the place was perfect for us! We love the lower keys and this was the ideal place to spend a month. Tracy was always responsive answering any questions we had. I can't recommend enough. We hope to return in the future!

The location was excellent—very close to great fishing spots, bait shops, and restaurants, which was the main reason for our trip. The beds were comfortable, and all the amenities were exactly as described in the listing, which we appreciated. However, one downside was the noticeable smell in the unit and especially in the fridge/freezer. It was clear that a previous guest had used the fridge for bait, and without a dedicated bait freezer, the odor lingered and was hard to ignore. We had to refill the baking soda in the fridge and freezer and add air fresheners and within a day we were able to rid the smell. We kept our bait on ice in a separate cooler so that this would not be a problem for the next guest. Overall, it was a good stay, but a designated bait freezer would make this a much better experience for future fishing guests.

A great place to stay for our family. Juan was an excellent communicator. Will definitely be back to stay again!

Rick's place is in a great location! Lot's of peace and quiet while close enough to walk anywhere. Close to the bus and trolly stops. there's a general store next door, a bar across the street with live music all week and an ice cream shop (a favorite of mine) next to the bar. You "might" be able to find a better place, but you would have to spend a lot of time finding one. If this place is available for your trip to Key West........book it!

Great location as we were far enough down Duval that we were able to have a quiet house. The house was absolutely beautiful, loved the curtains on the windows that let natural light in. Loved the landscape that felt like we didn't have any neighbors at all. The pool was smaller than we expected, but our two kids had enough room to play and swim. AC kept up with the Florida summer heat and refreshing after a long day out. No issues with the showers as previously mentioned.

Beautiful, Beautiful Beautiful did I say Beautiful. you won't be disappointed if you rent this house, so private and quiet. yes the neighbors are close but they weren't home our entire stay and we wouldn't have noticed if they were there, there was to much to do and see. So easy and close to a marina to put your boat in the water for 10$ each day In and Out. The Rooster was perfect for many dinners. Boondocks 10 minutes away for a little competitive putt putt, live music,and great food. Shopping galore Key West just 30 minutes away. Oh yes and the house was Beautiful, the beds were comfy, extremely clean and everything to make your vacation great is right here. The Key Deer are a bonus. Thank you Estrella we will be back.

Great host and great location. Can’t say enough how relaxing and enjoyable the location is. Everything you need with great privacy. A wonderful time had by all.

We loved the location. The view was amazing. We are very familiar with this area as we have stayed at different locations within Venture out for many years. This place had such an amazing view especially with the sunrise in the a.m. We also loved that you could relax in the sun and cool down in the shade down below. We seen alot of fun things swim up from the water and that was fun memories for our kiddos. Neighbors were extremely friendly. Throughly enjoyed our stay!

Great location in Marathon. Walking distance to a restaurant. Dock was nice to sit on and watch the fish and manatee in the bay. Wish the shuffleboard had the type of sand that allowed it to work.

This was a very nice place. Very quiet and peaceful! The location was perfect. This was our first time to the keys and we would highly recommend staying here!

Great find! I couldn’t recommend this place enough. The beds were comfortable, the place was super spacious. We loved the back yard and the jacuzzi. Communication with Naomi was great.

We love to travel and have stayed in quite a few airbnbs now but this one has gotten 5 stars from all the adults and the kids! This spot is so unique we all loved it! It’s beautiful inside and out. The wildlife comes right up into the yard. Every evening we have a family of deer show up. I think this was everyone’s favorite part but the loved the pool and the deck and the space the home has. Plenty of seating to separate or spend some time as a family. We are definitely coming back to this unit when we come back to the keys and we’ve been telling all our friends and family about it for their next trip! The host was great and very responsive!

Was able to see a manatee, pelicans. caught so many fish and all from the dock. Provided enough coffee for the entire week. Kayaks and tubes provided as well. Marathon is centrally located to visit the entire keys. Sombrero Beach is amazing.

Beautiful place, modern and clean, away from the crowds but close enough to get back and forth easily. Would come back and stay here for sure.
