This place is amazing: the view is gorgeous and the cabin is adorable. We were especially impressed with the kitchen and the attention to detail (everything is themed and labeled). Highly recommend!

5 Stars! We stayed two nights at River Rock in Deep Gap, NC. It was pouring when we arrived, but the covered porch allowed us to still sit outside and enjoy the mountain air. The hot tub was perfect, especially with the rain coming down. The cabin is just far enough from town to feel peaceful and private, but close enough for a quick trip if you need anything. A great spot to relax—we’d definitely stay again.

If I was someone on the fence about staying here, I would absolutely stay here! It was beautiful, very clean, well taken care of and very relaxing! It was the best way to celebrate our first wedding anniversary and we will certainly be back! The price was very reasonable for 2 nights in a beautiful relaxing cabin too! We were able to bring our puppy which made it even better! Firefly cabin is a must stay!

Place was absolutely beautiful and we enjoyed the outside covered screened in porch. Such a great place to just relax and enjoy the family. I’m already trying to figure out when I can go again.

we completely enjoyed ourself at Kendall's red tin roof cabin. it's close to Banner Elk it's close to beautiful golf courses and we went to some waterfall swimming holes everything was close the view was fantastic and we will be back again

The design of the cabin was impeccable—warm, inviting, and perfectly equipped with everything we could have needed. My wife especially adored the little touches, like the thoughtful decor, which made the stay feel extra indulgent. The host was outstanding: communicative, welcoming, and attentive to every detail. Wow, this is our second time staying at Kokomo, and it has become our absolute favorite location on Beech Mountain! Breathtaking views, easy spacious parking, no hassle entry and the sound of every bird you can imagine has been music to our ears. The excitement of nature is everywhere! That’s just describing the outside. Inside is so accommodating to everyone’s needs and wants. Big spacious rooms, lots of family fun activities, detached game-room, special treats, and luxurious extras with an amazing hot tub and an incredible sauna. We will continue to make this our first choice Airb&b when we visit the mountains! Most importantly, I do not believe there’s enough nice words in the world to describe how sweet and kind Sophia is hosting this location! She makes sure our experience is spectacular every time! We loved staying here! The cabin was perfect and it had everything we needed. The bathroom was nicely updated, the kitchen and linens were clean, and the couch and bed were super comfortable! Great amenities in a beautiful place for a reasonable price!

Great cozy spot in Banner Elk! Only 15-20 minutes away from Boone. It was very nice being in the trees and hills. It was a great stay and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a cozy place close to Boone.

Loved this cabin and its proximity to Beech Mtn for our MTB race with Downhill Southeast! Quirky charm and great covered back porch.

We had a great time at Buttermilk Acres. The place is beautiful and a lovely get away into nature. The showers were awesome and bathroom was close to the cabin so going outside wasn’t a bother at all (even at 8 months pregnant!)

We have rented homes on Watauga 15+ times and this so far has been our favorite. It’s very obvious how well the home and outside is cared for. The patio, furniture, and dock are all so clean. I have found that a lot of places lack that part. It was so nice to be able to paddleboard and kayak without paying extra. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. I highly recommend this house and plan to return for future visits if it’s available!

I had a great stay at Jennifer's place. The cabin is so peaceful and feels very secluded while still being accessible to the restaurants and shopping in Boone. Jennifer was very responsive and helpful with any questions, and there is full binder of suggestions for the area. There were nice little touches for anyone traveling with dogs as well. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this cabin!

We had a wonderful stay at this peaceful retreat while attending our daughter's wedding in Boone. The home is beautifully furnished, cozy, and perfectly located with easy access to both Boone and Blowing Rock. We especially enjoyed relaxing in the jacuzzi and spending time on the spacious outdoor decks — perfect for unwinding after a busy day. The host thought of everything, and the property felt like a true home away from home. We can't wait to come back again!

The cabin is beautiful and spacious. We loved the peaceful feeling both inside and out. The jetted tub was a great feature and there was both a gas and charcoal grill available for us. We loved sitting out on the sliders on the deck and the swing around the fire pit. Hopefully it is available the next time we come visit our daughter.

We enjoyed our 3rd stay at Bobcat Run. It is always comfortable, cozy and a great get away for my husband and I and our two grown daughters and our son-in-laws. Great family time . We always feel right at home. The cabin is so cozy and well stocked with everything we could ever need. We enjoy cooking our own meals and a great place to relax in the evening after hiking and spending time in the NC Mountains. Always a great place! Erika's personal touches make it so special. We will return!

This was an amazing little place - I actually thought it was nicer than the photos. The host was super communicative and responsive. They really wanted us to have a great time. There are even thoughtful little amenities like a noise machine in the master bedroom. I really appreciated that because I usually sleep with a fan on for background noise but don't travel with one. That really showed me how much they cared about their guests comforts. RENT this place - you won't be disappointed.

The house was fantastic. It was perfect my family, including my mother and two young kids (Ages 3 & 5). The patio was exactly what I wanted, a view of the mountains, peaceful mornings with coffee. The living room was comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. The bedding was super clean and comfortable. I would absolutely stay here again! I also loved that otter. Falls was so close to the house, the family went hiking one day. And grandfather vineyard was also very convenient another great plus for the kids with the river and rocks to play in.

We had a great stay! It's cute and cozy and had everything we needed. Courtney was very helpful and we enjoyed the online guidebook. The kitchen is well stocked but is small so best for one chef at a time. The couch wasn't the most comfortable but overall we had a wonderful time.

Meridith's home was beautiful! The view from the outside deck was gorgeous! She was very responsive to messages! We liked it so much we stayed a extra night! We went to Grandfather Mountain Winery and Linville Falls Winery! So much fun! Highly recommend her Airbnb home!

This was our second stay at Starry Starry Nights. We love the secluded, cozy rustic atmosphere, and our family felt right at home. We saw plenty of deer in the beautiful woods, which is always so cool. We especially had fun hiking right there from the cabin down to the Watauga River. We enjoyed cooking and relaxing at the cabin after skiing at Sugar Mountain. It even snowed this trip and the surroundings were breathtaking. Michael is the perfect host, so accommodating and helpful. We will be back again!
