Since December 4, 2023, we have been the proud owners of our vacation home at Beach Resort in Makkum. The house can accommodate up to 6 people, and is very complete. The house is nicely centrally located on a quiet park. With a sunny terrace and views over the nature reserve and the water. You can fish from the jetty! The house with a large garden is situated at a unique spot at the IJsselmeer, overlooking not only the harbour but also a bird sanctuary. The little town is only a 10 minutes walk away. BBQ, fireplace that holds a pizza oven.. All is on the ground floor, without thresholds. The kitchen is fully equipped: dishwasher, combination steam-oven, ceramic cooking plate and other kitchen tools. No pets are allowed.

These new (2023) thatched villas of Wetterhaghe have a beautiful unobstructed view over the Poelen, the Weisleat, right in the middle of the Frisian lake area. The sustainable villas have their own jetty with possibly a beautiful 8-person electric boat! The sloop is available between April 1 and November 1. Just sail to the village for a drink or in the morning to the bakery for fresh rolls. But a day trip on the Frisian lakes is also a quiet sensation!
