Since December 4, 2023, we have been the proud owners of our vacation home at Beach Resort in Makkum. The house can accommodate up to 6 people, and is very complete. The house is nicely centrally located on a quiet park. With a sunny terrace and views over the nature reserve and the water. You can fish from the jetty! An awesome environment for water sports, cycling, walking and other activities. The house with a large garden is situated at a unique spot at the IJsselmeer, overlooking not only the harbour but also a bird sanctuary. The little town is only a 10 minutes walk away. BBQ, fireplace that holds a pizza oven.. All is on the ground floor, without thresholds. The kitchen is fully equipped: dishwasher, combination steam-oven, ceramic cooking plate and other kitchen tools. No pets are allowed.

These new (2023) thatched villas of Wetterhaghe have a beautiful unobstructed view over the Poelen, the Weisleat, right in the middle of the Frisian lake area. The sustainable villas have their own jetty with possibly a beautiful 8-person electric boat! The sloop is available between April 1 and November 1. Just sail to the village for a drink or in the morning to the bakery for fresh rolls. But a day trip on the Frisian lakes is also a quiet sensation!
