“Sue is a fantastic host, very welcoming and a lovely person to talk to. We only stayed one night and were in the area for a wedding so didn't get to see much else of the area, however Sue let us check in nice and early so we could get ready. Not only that but she also cooked us a delicious vegetarian breakfast to help with our hangovers! The room was very homely and had some water/tea/biscuits laid out for our arrival. The bed was super comfortable and the room right next to a nice big bathroom. Everything we needed, and Sue is lovely!”
Sitting pretty in a wild flower meadow surrounded by open fields, this barn conversion is countryside simplicity at its best: updated appliances and rustic furniture arranged for open-plan living to relax unwind and enjoy the tranquil surroundings.
“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the barn was the perfect location for a family Christmas getaway. The barn itself was clean and beautifully decorated and we were so touched by the Christmas decorations and a little Christmas tree which made our stay extra special and made us feel at home. Upon arrival we found a jar of honey from their own bees and a postcard which made us feel welcome. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a Christmas dinner and there were even board games in the cupboard for us to play afterwards. We also appreciated the binoculars which we used to have a closer look at all the wildlife just outside our window. We were thrilled to spot pheasants, muntjac deer, hares and even an owl during our stay. The barn is a perfect place to relax and slow down for a few days.”
