The lodge was very comfortable with very nice bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. It is ideally located for introducing our Mexican friends to the charms of Suffolk and the well equipped kitchen enabled us to prepare delicious Suffolk produce. Highly recommended.

Well Barn, Sudbourne

NeilRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Isabella’s Lodge was immaculate and very easy to get in to - very clear instructions. It’s an upside-down house and the upper floor has huge windows so you can see the surrounding Countryside. It’s very quiet and peaceful, just what we wanted. It feels as though it’s in the middle of nowhere but the coastal towns and Sutton Hoo are less than half an hour away, and there are lots of lovely places to visit. We would definitely go again. It’s really great value for money and there’s loads of space and it’s nice and quiet - it’s a great place to escape the hurly-burly of work.

Large immaculate conversion - The Milking Parlour

ApolenaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We had an absolutely fabulous time at the Milking Parlour ❤️ The place was gorgeous, perfect for a couples getaway. We were blessed with brilliant weather, and the positioning of the garden meant we got the best of the sun. Sitting outside with breakfast in the mornings was a proper treat. The hot tub was also a super nice addition; once we got it properly going, we stayed in it from sunset until the night, and were able to spot some constellations as we were far enough away from the light pollution of central Ipswich :) The Milking Parlour itself is super lovely, very airy and fresh design, bright throughout the day, helpful little gadgets around, always a good temp due to underfloor heating. The hosts Marion and Kevin were really friendly, and Charlie was very helpful. We would’ve never left, had we been given the choice, so we will hopefully be back soon instead 🙏

River View

River View was a fabulous apartment and the view across the Alde was one of the highlights. Comfortable, clean and fitted to high standard. I particularly liked seeing the owner’s artwork: gave the apartment a really special air. Perfect for walkers as almost straight onto the Sailors Path. Highly recommend

Beautiful flat set in a walled garden.

ClareRating, 5 stars1 week ago
A well-appointed, spotless property in beautiful surroundings. With a fascinating church close by (the clock not being too invasive), and very old pub down the road, the property is in the loft of a granary in the grounds of a large country house. It has been tastefully converted and is accessed by a flight of stairs. I liked the fact that each person was offered two different densities of pillow! Would we stay here again? Definitely.

Riverside barn with private beach

peteRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had an absolutely brilliant and relaxing stay – the accommodation was lovely and really well thought out. The beds were comfy, and we slept well throughout. One of the real highlights was the local wildlife – we were amazed by how close we got to nature, and being (lightly!) stalked by the cows definitely made us smile! Would love to come back soon.
