Having lived in many different places, I understand how important and difficult it is to find a clean, tidy, spacious and good design place to relax. We explored every corner of Skye and were fortunate to find a special location with the best view in the best part of Skye (My guests described Ardtreck as special! Ardtreck's location sometimes offers incredible views that you won't find anywhere else (including Skye). So we designed and built Ardtreck. The main characteristics of Ardtreck are:

This secluded luxury getaway boasts 2 kingsize bedrooms, shower room, games room and kitchen/living room, with world class views over the loch to the Cuillin Hills, Talisker cliffs and Isle of Rhum. This shore front property offers a private garden and parking as well as direct access to shore and walks. Great for watching local wildlife. This is a self catering accommodation and the kitchen is stocked with all cooking facilities as well as some basic food, so on arrival you can just relax.

Red Mountain Garden Cottage (Self Catering)

Sorry - Children over 10 only. Red Mountain Cottage is beautifully and quietly situated on the edge of Carbost village, with stunning views overlooking Loch Harport and towards the Cuillin Mountains. This is a small, modern, but very well appointed cottage/cabin has been lovingly created to a high specification, including handmade beds and sills & a feature wall. The cottage sleeps 3, but is ideal for couples seeking a romantic break, as well as for sight-seeing, walking and climbing.

Gate Lodge on Conservation Farm Isle of Skye

Opened in January 2020, the Gate Lodge is a charming octagon with plenty of original character. Warm and well-equipped, it has been completely renovated and sits within the grounds of a working conservation farm. Strictly No Smoking. From the house, you can take a lovely coastal walk along the shores of Loch Harport. There's lots of places to eat nearby, including Café Cùil, The Old Inn & the Oyster Shed. Or enjoy a cosy night in beside the new wood burning stove!

Craighaven, Tiny House Isle of Skye

Craighaven is a modern self catering studio designed to have all the conveniences of home on a small scale. It is a detached building in the grounds of our home located in Fiscavaig with beautiful mountain & loch views over the bay. The area benefits from pub serving food, cafes, a community shop, post office & the famous Talisker Distillery. Get away from it all when you stay under the stars! Tranquil Glen Hide is an ideal base from which you can explore the stunning Isle of Skye. We recommend guests stay at least three nights in order to explore what the island has to offer :) Many of the most popular tourist sites are a short drive away: Old Man of Storr; Lealt Falls; Kilt Rock; Quiraing; Fairy Glen; Coral Beach; Neist Point; Talisker Distillery; Fairy Pools and the Cuillin mountains.

Self catering bungalow, ‘Crab Cottage’

Crab Cottage provides a comfy place to relax after a day exploring the beauty of the Isle of Skye. This detached, self-catering bungalow for two is situated in a crofting community. The cottage is near and above the road but shielded by bushes and visitors have said the noise is minimal. Our own house and static caravan are next to the cottage. We live with an elderly collie mix dog called Boots and 4 chickens (who live in a separate fenced off area).
