The closest is just 200 metres down the hill, where the Sevens Creek offers stunning flora and fauna including, koala, platypus and many nocturnal animals. Feathertail gliders can be found in the beautiful Strathbogie Forest and there's a stunning 18 hole golf course within walking distance.

The Eagles Retreat is a unique destination. A rustic three bedroom stone cottage on 370 acres of natural bush along the Sevens Creek. Nestled in the Strathbogie Ranges overlooking a creek with a cascading perennial waterfall, The Eagles Retreat is a perfect sanctuary for a couple or family to be immersed in nature surrounded by Australian mammals and birds. Just 2 hours drive from Melbourne, guests can walk the stony outcrop hills and meander the stunning bubbling river and waterfalls.

Cosy 1 bedroom farm stay guesthouse

Relax in this cosy guest house with spacious surrounds. The guest house is close to the main house but with private outlook and places to explore along the seasonal creek and open paddocks . Close to Euroa There is a kitchenette with small bar fridge and microwave. PLEASE DO NOT USE PORTABLE COOKING DEVICES IN THE GUEST HOUSE for safety reasons. BBQ facilities and campfire pit are available in front of the guest house however fire pit not available from November due to fire restrictions

Constructed in 2021 using some materials recovered from the original 1885 house it has a large open plan living area, balcony and alfresco, backyard and front yard space (sorry no pets). Opposite rail line and close to local businesses the Rockery and Longwood Community Centre, local wineries Mitchellton, Tabilk, RPL, Fowle’s, Hide and Seek and Maygars.

What was once our tiny family home now sits on a little farm for you to enjoy, looking over the orchard and forest. Your own driveway will lead you out to the little house, past our private residence and orchard. You can rest on the deck, lay on the grass or soak in the tub. With no WiFi or TV you can disconnect for a while and let the surrounds recharge you. Wander with the chickens in the orchard, take yourself out into the forest or explore the Yarra Valley.
