Hut vacation rentals in Stratford-on-Avon District

This is the third time I've stayed in Katherine's 'shepherd's hut'. It is a beautifully situated, cosy and peaceful retreat from which to explore Oxford. Katherine is a great host, friendly and helpful without being at all intrusive. I'm sure I'll be back for a fourth time soon.

Wow! What a wonderful stay me and my little family had. So beautiful, so peaceful, so gorgeous, so homely. Would defo recommend!!!!!! If you like rural stays this one is for you. Amazing! Thank you Tanya for giving us this amazing opportunity to make memories that we will treasure forever. ❤️

An amazing place to stay for a few nights away, loved my time there in such a peaceful beautiful location !

Celebrated our 1 year anniversary and it was absolutely lovely, we are definitely going back! Lynden was so lovely and gave clear instructions that made finding eveything so easy, love our tour of the farm and feeding all the animals that were so friendly! The room was really nice and decorated so beautifully & really appreciated the complimentary snacks. We loved the hot tub, lighting the fire for our marshmallows, and how close the animals got to us! Was a lovely place to stay felt so at home and welcomed, would define my recommend :)

Perfect for our short stay in Milton Keynes, hut was lovely and was nice to have some tea and biscuit provisions. Easy check in and a beautiful area to be set up at. Hut is right next to the farm house and store. Fortunately we had no noise from either. Overall very pleased, only slight issue was that the bathroom fan wasn't working (or we couldn't work out how to turn it on) so it got very humid in there, some signs of mould but could be related to the fan so I'm sure will get fixed soon.

Amazing stay! The hut was exactly like the photos and just as described The thoughtful touches Prosecco milk cake hot chocolate and chocolate were lovely and really made us feel at home The hut was well appointed and everything had been well thought through and we did not want for anything The fact the washing up was done for you again added to the experience! The hot tub and view were beautiful and we were so lucky with the weather we made full use of the outdoor space Great recommendations on walks and places to eat! Thank you for a fantastic stay and being an amazing host- you went above and beyond!

I booked this for my parents in law and Sue was brilliant. Very warm and welcoming and was happy for us to visit them as much as we liked. Beautiful garden with beautiful views, will definitely be booking again.

The Shepherds Hut was amazing, so cozy, clean and comfortable. Trish has thought of everything. The table and benches turn in to the bed base, with space underneath to store your bags. The bed was really comfortable and we both had a great nights sleep. The shower was great, towels provided. It's in a really quiet location and we had the added pleasure of seeing a glorious peacock on our arrival ! Trish is a really great host, lots of attention to detail such as: fresh free range eggs, cans of gin and tonic, chocolate biscuits, milk and a bottle of cold water in the fridge. Plus marshmallows for melting by a fire and a jar of sweets. Games to play, a folder with details of local pubs (all dog friendly), maps for local walks and booklets of places to visit. We recommend the Red Lion at Castle Eaton, a really friendly and welcoming pub, with very tasty food. We really enjoyed our weekend, so much to do and right in the heart of the Cotswolds. What a beautiful little getaway! David and Jackie were fantastic hosts, friendly and responsive. The Meadow View Hut was situated in the perfect location, offering gorgeous views, sights of birds of prey and deer. The location was private, peaceful and exactly what you want to unwind to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Thank you for making this great place available!

We had the most wonderful stay at Thom’s Ladybird Hut. Set in a peaceful, idyllic location surrounded by nature, it was the perfect escape. The hut was modern, spotless, and clearly maintained with real care. Thom takes great pride in what he does. He greeted us warmly on arrival, walked us to the hut, and explained everything clearly. Nothing was too much trouble, and his local recommendations were spot on. We left feeling completely relaxed and refreshed. A perfect countryside getaway, highly recommend!

We had the best break away staying at Sharon's beautiful shepherds hut, the scenery was so beautiful, and it was the perfect place to unwind, our two dogs loved the hut and the enclosed garden, as well as exploring all of the public walkways. Sharon is a wonderful host and you will have the best holiday if you choose this little gem for your stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Helen & Chris’s shepherds hut! They are the perfect hosts—friendly, welcoming, and incredibly responsive. The hut itself is absolutely beautiful, immaculately presented, and thoughtfully equipped with everything you could need. Set on a quiet country lane with stunning views towards the Malvern Hills, it’s the ideal spot for a peaceful countryside retreat. It truly has everything a couple could want for a relaxing escape. We highly recommend it and will definitely be returning in the future!

we had the loveliest weekend at Rachaels shepherd hut, the hut was so pretty, beautifully presented and spotlessly clean, so lovely to have a safe secure garden for our dog too, Rachael was lovely, greeted us on arrival and left us a lovely lemon drizzle cake and milk for a very welcome cuppa when we had unpacked. even our dog was treated to a towel, treats poop bags and a feed bowl, these personnel touches made our stay so special, Rachael even bought a doggy pool for our dog as we were having a heatwave, the hut was a home from home, everything you need was provided, shes the best host, and we highly recommend her little holiday home,and we're definitely going back , we didn't want to leave!

We absolutely loved our stay at ‘The Bibury’! Only a short drive from Burford, it was a wonderfully peacefully escape in such a gorgeous setting. The facilities were fantastic and the welcome basket was a lovely treat on arrival - the wood-fired hot tub was an added bonus! The hosts were really friendly and helpful. We would definitely reccomend to others visiting the Cotswolds :)

We had a wonderful stay, it was so peaceful and private. We would 100% recommend to anyone to visit! We loved that we could let our dog roam around with the peace of mind that she was safe while we enjoyed the hot tub. James was incredibly helpful and answered all our messages so quickly! We loved that there was a list of things to do and places to eat, it made it so easy for us to narrow down what to do. The shepherds hut itself was spotless and had everything we needed! We loved the added details of coffee and logs for the fire being provided. Thank you so much for an incredible stay!

A fab shepherds hut in a beautiful, peaceful area! We visited to celebrate my partner’s 30th and had a lovely stay. We loved the woodfired hot tub and fire pit. We enjoyed visiting the surrounding Cotswolds villages in the day time. We would absolutely love to come back soon!

Beautiful location. The only negative is I found it hard to open the keybox but my fingers are not as strong as they once were, and also the bed is high, but it is so cosy once your up with a view of the valley through the window

We had a lovely relaxing stay, very clean, comfy beds, amazing pillows! Everything we needed and more re the kitchen.. The location and views of the surrounding countryside were absolutely beautiful. Hot Tub clean and in full working order - fire pit was a lovely added extra! The hosts were both very organised and helpful. Thanks for having us 🙌🏻

Felicity’s place was lovely, the facilities were clean and relaxing. Lovely recommendations and quick responses from the host. It is worth noting the accommodation is at the side of the host’s house and looks out over their back garden which wasn’t too clear from the pictures. This is fenced off so our dog could have free roam near the hut which she loved! It wasn’t an issue for us and we felt secluded and relaxed ☺️ thanks Felicity! Xx

We gad a great time at Emma's Shepherd's Hut. It was exactly as described in a lovely location that was nice and quiet.

You definitely need to use What3words to find as it's tucked away which is lovely and peaceful. The huts are quite near the main house which is ok as they leave you to it!

Thank you for such a wonderful stay, we had the most relaxing + peaceful time. The attention to detail makes this little hideaway second to none. I wouldn’t hesitate recommending it if you’re looking for a relaxed, romantic getaway surrounded by nature. The hot tub and breakfast package was really helpful, and the hammock and bathroom facilities - were lovely touches. Wish we had stayed longer 🥰
