A great cozy place to stay for my grandson's graduation. This house was perfect, with a nice big deck outside. The hosts were amazing to work with and were very helpful. Location was great, looks exactly like the pictures. Highly recommend staying here. A short walk down to a cool little beach at the end of the street.

We had a great weekend in Alton at Liz’s place. Liz was super responsive in the weeks leading up to our trip - and the house exceeded our expectations. Definitely the highlight of our summer.

We had a wonderful stay over the weekend! The place was absolutely beautiful—peaceful, serene, and the perfect escape. The house itself was beautifully decorated with thoughtful touches throughout, making it feel cozy and welcoming. It was also very well stocked with everything we needed, which made our stay even more comfortable. A big thank you to our host for her warm hospitality and attention to detail. We truly appreciated the care she put into making our visit so enjoyable. Highly recommend, and we’d love to return in the future!

Had a great stay for our daughter’s graduation from UNH. Whole unit was very competitive to local hotels and we had not only a beautiful view and plenty of room for 4-6, but all the comforts of home: extremely clean, plenty of furniture, fluffy towels and even flavored K-cups😊 ~30 minutes to UNH and the route dropped us right into Grad Parking without hitting the gridlock of traffic through campus. I wish I had found this place when she started college! Derek has earned his title as Super host. He was available but we never needed him. Reserve this one with confidence - Enjoy!

We had a great extended long weekend stay at Karen’s!! The place was warm & inviting- perfect for a colder than anticipated Memorial Day Weekend — we took advantage of the pellet stove and were still able to take in awesome lake views from the comfort of the living room. Our young girls had a blast “swimming” in the large jacuzzi bath tub and playing/ sleeping on the bunk beds in one of the bedrooms. We did manage to get out on our boat which was easy to dock at the slip associated with the rental. No fish caught this time around but still fun trying. The location of Karen’s place is awesome- very close/ walking distance to tasty restaurants & public boat launch. We cooked most of our own meals & were grateful for the well stocked kitchen as well as having a grocery store less than 5 min away. Karen was a fantastic host with quick response times from time of booking & then following checkout ensuring that our stay was as seamless as possible. We hope to return in the future! 😊

The house is beautiful and the views are just breathtaking. From inside the house, you get a beautiful view of the lake and then the porch is amazing. You can kayak, use the paddle board or use the canoe. You can also sit by the lake and enjoy the campfire. The surroundings are very beautiful and peaceful. The host is very responsive, solved all our doubts and was flexible with us during check-in and check-out, which we appreciated very much. At check-in, we were greeted by a great bottle of wine and chocolates, which was a great touch. The house also has a ping pong table, books to read and board games. The kitchen was well stocked with the basics. We had an amazing stay, we highly recommend this property :)

My family and I had a serene experience staying here. Although the weather was mostly rainy or cloudy, we loved the lake location and maximized the indoor, outdoor, and nearby activity options. The hosts were so responsive, regardless of the question, and made this a truly delightful visit. This was my parents’ first Airbnb experience and it set the bar higher than I could have imagined! My family and I are already talking about coming back!!

Great location

We spent almost a month in this place and felt at home the entire time. The place was very well equipped and we lacked nothing. It was clean and the hosts even took care of snacks and bath products. Contact with Parvaneh was easy and we always got a quick response. We would definitely come back to this place.

Dennis and Julie’s place is impeccable! Beautifully decorated and so comfortable and relaxing. We felt right at home from the moment we walked in. Anything and everything is thoughtfully provided in this warm and inviting space. We would definitely stay again.

My husband & I had a wonderful stay! Niki answered all of my questions & gave some great hiking recommendations. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need & the place was clean.

Really enjoyed the stay. The home was very spacious and comfortable, and is situated in a great spot near downtown Dover. This will be at the top of my list to stay at anytime I'm in NH.

We had a wonderful stay for the UNH graduation weekend. Highly recommend, peaceful setting, comfortably furnished, everything we needed. The full kitchen was very helpful and well stocked for needs, and the grounds were relaxing. Walkable to spots in Dover, easy drive to Durham, close to Portsmouth. Very responsive hosts, would love to return!

This Airbnb was great! I was in town for a double header sports event at UNH and the location was perfect. It was easy to find, had plenty of parking, was very spacious for myself and my daughter and was walking distance to all sorts of downtown places. I’m usually not one for cooking when I go away, but for a few reasons I had to this time. The kitchen wasn’t cluttered, but had everything I needed. The shower had good water pressure and the beds were very comfortable. There’s not one bad things I can say about this place. I’ll definitely look to stay here again in the future.

Certainly not a glamorous neighborhood, but quiet and walking distance to some great restaurants (Stages at One Washington was better than every Michelin 3 Star I’ve been to). Very homey apartment with great amenities (particularly appreciated the Apple TV, WiFi and Keurig pods), and Joshua was a really proactive and thoughtful host. Really great!

Thank you so much for this beautiful slice of lakeside living! Wish we had a longer stay (without rain) to truly take advantage of all that’s available. It was awesome waking up to the gorgeous lake views. You thought of everything as far as snacks and coffee. Such a spacious stay with rooms for everyone in our three person party. Thank you for your flexibility on checking in a little earlier than we’d anticipated. Great communication before and throughout our stay.

Great place right on the water!

This was an absolute beautiful stay. The views of the lake with the fall foliage was breathtaking. The home had everything we needed and was perfectly clean. Would definitely come again.

Four adults spent a week in Alton Bay. The deck gets morning sun which was wonderful before the heat of the day settled in. We loved the walk ability of the Bay. Great breakfast next door. Two sit down restaurants and one walk up restaurant within a quarter mile. Grocery store about 10 minutes away. Beautiful Lakeside public park and swimming area right next door. The condo is very spacious and well decorated. The hosts responded immediately to a few missing items. If you are looking for a small town, lakeside, summer vacation. We would recommend Breakaway.
