Cycling routes and hiking trails through the Šumava National Park lead directly from the gazebo, and there is a train that can take you to more distant beautiful places in Šumava. The surrounding area is ideal for mushroom picking, cycling, and hiking. The town of Rožmberk nad Vltavou is only 2.5 km away. Here you can visit Rožmberk Castle or go rafting on the Vltava River in the summer months.
