The house was newly built. The apartment is furnished in Alpine style. Various details are made with old wood, which makes the apartment unique and homely. The apartment has a very spacious entrance area, where electric grill and deck chairs are available for a cozy stay. The bedroom has a box-spring bed and wardrobe. The bathroom/toilet has a shower and sink with generous storage space. The washing machine can be used free of charge.

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at Susanne’s place. We arrived by public transportation and it was very close to bus stops and a supermarket. Everything for a comfortable stay was included and Susanne is a fabulous host and even thought we didn’t meet, she kept in touch and was very helpful. Very easy to get to Stoos and the ridge hike is definitely a must! Highly recommend a stay here.

Extremely nice and accommodating to my son and I. I was looking for a local experience and this place outperformed at every turn. Amazing scenery, kind host and crew at the farm, great food and the dairy reminded me of my childhood farm. 10/10 recommend and I will return in the future.

Kurt and Ursula are very friendly hosts. They made us feel at home while also creating a private space at the side of their apartment. U would feel that you have a space of your own, with every single detail being taken care of and provided for! On the day of our checkout, it was raining heavily. Kurt offered to drive us to the train station with our big luggages. It was really nice of him and we really appreciated it. The venue was also near to the places that we wanted to go. We took the gondola from the Arth-Goldau station, to go to Mt Rigi, which was just one stop away by train. At Mt Rigi, we travelled to a boat stop for a cruise to Lucerne, instead of going to Lucerne from Steinen. Other nearby attractions include the Goldau Nature and Animal Park and the Zug river. Although the hosts’ are not fluent in English, they had pre-prepare materials in English such that you will understand certain details of the house, such as the blinds being an automated one via a button-press.

The location is beautiful, tucked in a hillside of Weggis, the host offered pickup and drop which was very useful because it’s a little far from the ferry stop. But it’s worth the view and location. They also offer fresh breakfast to start off the day or a hike which is great especially in a place like Weggis.
