Mountain Escape: Ski & Relax!

MikaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
This place was the perfect getaway sanctuary from the big city hustle and bustle for a quiet weekend trip in the beautiful mountain scenery. The condo is well-appointed, matches the description, and just steps away from the trails of San Isabel National Forest, which was so serene to walk through with my spouse and furbaby. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy getaway! Hosts were super responsive, informative and easy to deal with as well to reduce the travel angst. :-)

Peaceful & Cozy Cabin in Private Forbes Park

AnnaRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We absolutely loved our stay. Lynette was very responsive. The views were amazing, the attention to every detail and amenity we great, beds were comfy, the house was super clean. We loved it all. We don’t have little ones, but there were books for kiddos, high chair, games, toys, pack n play. The kitchen was stocked with all the items you would need including coffee which is a necessity! We couldn’t be more grateful for our comfy and peaceful stay.

La Blanca Vista Casita-Minutes From Reservoir!

AllanRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Great place, great hosts, and great location for visiting the sand dunes! Cute cabin just outside "downtown" Fort Garland. Well appointed for us with convenient access to Great Sand Dunes National Park, Alamosa CO which does have a few more restaurants, and the Sand Dunes Recreation hot spring pool and greenhouse. Let me tell you, the pool was a highlight even considering how incredible sledding down the sand dunes was, and how beautiful the property and views where the cabin is set. If you're on the fence for some reason, just book it! You won't be disappointed. If you plan to sled the dunes, rent local and don't bring something in my from Walmart. Heed the rental CO's instructions, especially on waxing, for the best and fastest ride. We loved everything so much more than we even expected to and we'll be looking to come back in the fall and either stay here again or in one of this host's other places.

Sand Dunes National Park Camp

GraceRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Stayed at camp site #2 for 3 nights. They camp site is very private and very quite at night. The sights you see on photos aren’t doing it justice. This is the most beautiful campsite I’ve ever stayed at. Definitely be cautious of the cactus needles. I wouldn’t wear open toed shoes and would definitely put some boots on your dog. I really loved my stay and will definitely be coming back.
