Grooms Cottage is on a private estate right next to the ruins of Sheriff Hutton Castle. The property is in a peaceful setting but only two minutes walk away from the village pub and post office/general store. Our cottage was completely renovated in 2021 and is in a great location for walkers, cyclists, and explorers. It’s about 10 miles from both York and Malton, Castle Howard is under 6 miles away, and the coast can be reached in under an hour. Grooms Cottage sleeps 4 guests+2 babies +dogs

Beautifully renovated property in Stockton on the Forest York, a wonderful village located close to the historic city of York. Perfect for 2 adults. The village boasts the Fox Inn pub, a traditional village pub and restaurant (please note the pub is temporary closed). The Village Stores grocery, handy for things you have forgotten. Deans Garden Centre and Café for a treat as well as Forest Park Golf Club. The property is also close to the Vanguard Centre and Monks Cross Shopping Park.

The first floor comprises a bathroom and two double bedrooms.

A Large comfortable cottage on the outskirts of the lovely Haxby village approximately 5 miles from York Centre . With 3 bedrooms (one of which is downstairs) and 3 bathrooms it is a spacious home which is ideal for a family get together or for friends meeting up. The dining kitchen is fully equipped so you can cook and eat at home if you wish. The pool table is always a great hit with our guests and many a pool tournament has been played.

Dunnington annexe with a view

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Quiet, secluded location 15 min walk from Dunnington. York city centre 6 miles away. Located directly on the Way of the Roses cycleway or Route 66. There is a third of a mile gravel track leading to the property if arriving by car. Direct access to Hagg Wood across private field. There is a sofa bed in the living room which can be used if needed for one adult or two small children.

The Pigsty, York

The Pigstywas part of the original farm buildings which were renovated in 2022 / 2023 to create a rustic holiday cottage. The cottage is; 2 .5 miles to York city center, close to bridle paths and footpaths (200m). Walking distance to pubs restaurants and shops. 5 minutes drive to 2 cinemas, leisure parks and retail units. This is the perfect location to explore York, the local area or enjoy a night out.

The Applebarn is a cosy little Holtby Home

This idyllic and cosy hideaway for two in the centre of the peaceful village of Holtby, offers spacious and comfortable accommodation, yet is only five miles from the city of York. The Apple Barn overlooks a secluded terrace, a gravelled courtyard area and a large garden, all of which are shared with the owners and there is off road parking available for one vehicle.
