Fantastic cabin. Fantastic host. Fantastic location. A brilliant get away for those seeking to “leave it all behind” for a few days. The cabin is as described. In some cases (especially the bathroom) the pictures do not do it justice. The view is even more exquisite in person. I think it’s what most would dream of having as their get away place. Hall was a fantastic host, whose communication was second to none. The access road is a little steep, but it makes for an adventurous start to your get away. We will definitely be returning! This place is nothing short of amazing. We were in search for a private, secluded getaway, and Luke’s cabin exceeded our expectations. There are three cabins along the lake, in a completely private area and a short drive away from pubs, amenities and things to do. The cabin itself was spotless, bright and thoughtfully designed. Would definitely return.

The place is perfect for total relaxation, peace and quiet all around . The caravan has all the essentials needed for an enjoyable stay, big credit to Rob and Lucy, our hosts.

Such a lovely place to escape to in the peace and quiet of beautiful countryside. Walks from your door or further afield. Fab for dogs, secure garden and everything felt safe and comfortable. The fact that you have your own castle for a short period is a bonus 👸I have no hesitation in recommending West Lodge for your family and dogs. Although there is no wifi there is good signal to connect to mobile data outside and upstairs. Bromyard is a short drive away for any forgotten or additional items. I would love to return in the future.
