This is a cozy little private space located in a small Volga German community known for the St. Fidelis Catholic Church, or "The Cathedral of the Plains," built from 1908-1911. The parish was was declared a minor basilica in 2014 and is one of the "Eight Wonders of Kansas." Victoria is located approximately halfway between KC and Denver and just a mile from I-70. It's a great place to stay the night and still be able to ski the slopes of Colorado the next afternoon if that is your destination.

Quiet area with a lot of area around the property to park vehicles or boats. 5 acres around the house if your pets need to stretch their legs. Located 8 miles from wilson lake if you enjoy boating, swimming , fishing, or just enjoy being around the lake. Nice local cafe, and service station with a small grocery area. Laundromat a block away. Local liquor store and a theater. If your into art there are a couple art attractions in town also the garden of eden. Firepit area coming this spring!

The Space Small and charming 2 bedroom 1 bath cabin style house completely remodeled in 2016. Guest access Entire house. Other Notes Cabin has floor furnace and is not ideal for crawling toddlers.

The rustic cabin used to be a milk barn in the 40s' and has been turned into a cozy and quiet get away. We are 20 minutes from Lake Wilson, 7 minutes from Russell, 20 minutes from Hays and 60 minutes from Salina. And it is simple ，only one master bedroom in total, one living room and one kitchen. And the basement is storage room (the door to the basement is locked). So no need to share except with the person you are traveling with. Parking : one free driveway parking in the front yard (18' Lx9'W ).

Mary was a fantastic host. She was quick to send a welcome message and quick to make sure everything met our needs. She left some delicious homemade cookies for us on the kitchen table. The house was exactly as shown and suited our needs perfectly. The neighborhood was quiet and the neighbors were friendly and respectful of our privacy. I would recommend this house to anyone visiting Hill City.

We went to Fort Hays State University for our son’s graduation. Julie’s place is on the river and lots of room to enjoy the outdoors. I would like to return for a long weekend to refresh and relax! Beautiful place and peaceful. The quiet was such a great addition to the lovely atmosphere of the living area.
