Pine Cottage in the heart of the Trossachs

RohitRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Our stay at Martin’s cottage was incredible. We spent a month in this idyllic location in Scotland, with so much to do including hiking and exploring beautiful villages in such a small radius. The cottage was comfortable and perfect for 2 people (good for 4 as well) and had everything we needed for a longer stay. We really enjoyed the both the sun filled conservatory and private outdoor space as well. Martin was a wonderful host and quick to answer any questions. We were sad to leave and would love to come back one day.

We had the best stay here for my sister’s bridal do! The house was spotless and Mhairi was super responsive. Really wanted a relaxed, homely space with beautiful surroundings and this home was perfect. No hesitation in recommending to family and friends in the future.

Shore House, Kilcreggan

VivienneRating, 5 stars2 days ago
This is the second time we’ve stayed here. The house is beautiful and in a great location right next to the water. Everything is tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The views over the water are so relaxing. The Kilcreggan cafe and The Creggans pub serve lovely food. The decking area outside is great to sit and relax. Highly recommend!

Steading @ Balvalachlan

ConnorRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We stay quite often in Scotland to visit family, this felt more like home to us. Nicely furnished, well equipped and thankfully on the rainy days, plenty of games to choose from. It was unlucky that the children were poorly during our stay but were so lucky to have such Lovely hosts who were very accommodating and kind. We’re be back again! Thank you xx

Loch Lomond Garden Room

MartínRating, 5 stars4 days ago
I spent 2 nights in the Garden Room for my partners birthday and it was the perfect place for a peaceful getaway. The accommodation was laid out beautifully and catered to our needs. Katrina, the host, was prompt in her responses and was never far away incase anything was needed. The location is great for a peaceful couple of days with lots of trails to either cycle, walk or run. We would 100% return and recommend to others.

Unique relaxing escape with loch & mountain views

JoeRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We stayed at the accommodation for two nights with our two children. It’s an absolutely lovely little cabin. It looks even better in real life than the pictures, sure it’s basic but it has everything you need for a short stay. The kitchen is well equipped, the shower was lovely and hot and the compost toilet worked perfectly. The log burner heated the room easily and we only needed it for a short time. The beds and sofa bed were lovely and comfy and we had more than enough battery lights to last the night. The cabin isn’t actually on Loch Long but it’s only a short walk down a very quiet road and there’s a rocky beach where you could paddle, swim, paddleboard from. If you want to eat out we had a fab tapas meal in Helensburgh. Enjoy!

Escape to an off grid bothy in Scotland with sauna

SamRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Things to watch out for before you start your journey. Request the additional directions and do not rely upon Sat Nav to get you there. Sat nav takes you down the wrong track and I ended up 1 mile from the Bothy in a field stuck at a locked gate. I didn’t notice the additional note about directions being supplied on request and went with the sat nav. It was also pointed out that low slung cars are not suitable for the track to the Bothy and this is also something I found out the hard way. Car took a bit of a battering especially with the extra journey of having to go back and find the correct track to the bothy. I just want to point out that all of the above was of my own doing and could have been avoided if I had requested the additional directions and paid heed to the warnings with regards type of car. Apart from all that the Bothy was exactly as described and really is an off grid experience. Beautiful surroundings and as long as you don’t get lost makes for a very relaxing stay

Adair Lodge - Loch Lomond - Hot tub - Loch View

LesleyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Absolutely loved our weekend here. The location is perfect for a relaxing stay surrounded in comfort and stunning natural beauty. The standout of the Ardlui Retreat has to be the care and attention from Garry (with 2 r’s) who could not do enough to help us during our stay. The local information and help he gave us going above and beyond any time of the day or night was unlike any I have every received anywhere I have stayed and for that reason and that alone I would be back! Thank you Garry with 2 rr’s!!

Pine Cabin, Strathyre, a cosy escape from it all.

KalwaneRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Cozy little cabin in a very beautiful village, close to a few Munro's. The gardens are beautiful if you can brave the midgies or the wind is up. lot of nice walks around through beautiful woods, by the riverside and through wildflower meadows if you don't fancy a Munro.

Romantic Cosy Getaway The Loveshack Balquhidder

LauraRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Absolutely lovely, super comfy stay at Alison’s place at Balquhidder! Cosy and quirky, we had everything we needed in a truly gorgeous spot! We loved using the big fire pit outside in the fairy-lit garden, just watching the flames with a cuppa at night, and listening to the birds and the sounds of the hillside. From fresh croissants to big blankets and eclectic little bits of artwork, this place is fun, well thought through, and just a fab base to explore the beauty of this breathtaking area. Great access for woodland and lochside walks, trips to nearby Callander, and amazing food - we took Alison up on her recommendation of Mhor84, just 6 minutes drive from the lodge, and it did NOT disappoint, with a totally fantastic meal enjoyed in the heart of the glen, in exquisite sunshine! This was a really special mini holiday for us before our baby arrives, and we had the best time. Thank you, Alison!
