The Old Post Office

TonyRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Such a lovely character cottage set in the beautiful, quiet village of Lower Bockhamton. It was lovely to sit out in the spacious and well kept private garden for a morning coffee, which overlooks open fields with Lamas. Just a minute walk to the picturesque Frome riverside with its stunning walks into Dorchester , my dog lived paddling through the clear flowing water. Would definitely recommend and will stay again myself.

Amazing value and a fantastic place to stay with your family, close to so many good towns. Matt was very helpful checking us in and quick at communicating. The lodge was basic but great for our needs.

Absolutely fantastic stay at Emma's Orangery. We could not rate it any higher. Such a lovely spot, very peaceful yet close to so many attractions. Her home was spotless and very well equipped. Emma was great at communicating and was there to welcome us with a smile on our arrival. Lovely tips for restaurants etc. It was a very friendly homely feeling. We will definitely be back!!

Moorhen cabin

We had the most wonderful stay at the cabin. The cabin itself is light and airy, whilst cosy and comfortable. We came with our 8 month old and there was plenty of space for the 3 of us. The grounds were beautiful and we were able to use a good chunk of the garden. We felt very comfortable in the space and welcomed. The host Carolynn was absolutely fantastic. Great communication, gave us good recommendations and was just so helpful and friendly. We would highly recommend staying at this wonderful place!!

Cosy, dog friendly cottage in the heart of Dorset

TraceyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a lovely 3 nights stay. The cottage was very spacious including the garden and perfect for our spaniel dog. We also always managed to get a car parking space outside the cottage. Shelley was very responsive and helpful. We highly recommend the Brewers Arms which was under 2 minutes walk away, for their food and warm welcome. Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door are close by and also Ab
