Cabin vacation rentals in Stillwater

Had an amazing stay at this beautiful property on the lake. It has that old cabin type feel but has all the necessities to be comfortable. The pontoon was great and we had a blast fishing off the dock. Would definitely come back!

We had a lovely peaceful stay. Very well equipped cabin, very clean and great amenities. Really enjoyed relaxing in the Hot Tub under the stars. Would recommend!

Great location not to far from the twin cities. It was great that there were kayaks and a canoe there for us to use free of charge. Also, there were instructions for using all of the necessities in the home, like the hot tub, fireplace, etc. Thanks for a great, relaxing weekend!

Great place felt right at home and fully stocked kitchen and linens and blankets and towels for our group! Little slice of heaven to relax and rest and enjoy our weekend.

Very much enjoyed our stay at The Malbec! It's close enough to town to go do things during the day, and far enough out to feel like you're relaxing in the country. The house was clean and the beds were comfortable!

Loved staying in this place on beautiful Lake Fremont. I was in town for a Crossfit competition and booked this stay as it was super close to the gym we’d be competing at. The space was beautiful and very clean. I really appreciated the abundance of towels the hosts provided as between our sweaty workouts and hot tub sessions (amaaaaazing by the way), we went through a few towels! Our stay was in the spring so the lake was still pretty cold, but the host does provide kayaks, a paddleboard, and life jackets so you can make the most of the lake during the summer! I can definitely see this place being a great space for a bachelor/bachlorette/girl’s trip/weekend staycation. Check in/out was very simple. I would absolutely stay here again.

We had a wonderful 4-day stay at Joni’s place in Siren, Wisconsin! The house was clean, cozy, and exactly as described—perfect for a peaceful getaway. The location is beautiful and quiet, surrounded by nature but still close to town for anything you might need. Joni was an exceptional host: super responsive, helpful, and made everything smooth from check-in to check-out. The kitchen was well-equipped, the beds were comfortable, and everything felt very welcoming. The only small downside was the low water pressure, which made showers a bit less comfortable, but it wasn’t a big deal at all. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would definitely stay here again!

Everything was great! Very clean, great location, and great host. We just wish our coffee maker would have worked!

5 Stars – A Perfect Getaway! Loondocks Lake House was everything we hoped for and more! The home is exactly as pictured—clean, cozy, and beautifully maintained. The setting is peaceful and perfect for a relaxing escape. The host was incredibly welcoming and made everything easy from start to finish. If you’re looking to make lifetime memories with family or friends, this is the place. We can’t wait to come back!

This quaint little cottage was perfect for our weekend getaway. The lakeview was gorgeous and it was lovely to sit outside and listen to/see all of the different birds. While most of our time was spent away from the cottage, it was the perfect place to come home to at the end of the night with the quietness of the area and the comfortable bed. Overall, a great getaway where we could relax and enjoy the beauty.

I felt like we were back in the days of vintage Minnesota small town lake cabin life. My husband, I and our dog Gus had a great weekend staying here. It was very quiet and serene, we heard lots of birds, and enjoyed watching the lake. The interior was Scandinavian themed and cozy. We appreciated the water and food dishes for Gus and the convenient dog poo bags. We got pizza from Pizza Pub and lunch at Gustav’s. The art gallery next to Gustav’s was very cool. Also hiked at interstate sp and got ice cream in Taylor’s Falls.

We had a great stay for a long weekend! Spacious living quarters and a ton of amenities made it perfect for our family of 6! Everything inside was super clean. The beach/lake are pretty weedy, but we had great fishing right off the dock. Host was responsive and helpful throughout the stay!

This is one of my favorite cabins I’ve been to. The only downside being that you can’t really walk down to the water. Everything else was fantastic. It was the perfect size for two of us and our dog. Lots of wildlife: we actually watched two snapping turtles lay their eggs by the fire pit. The surrounding towns are very cute, and Interstate Park is great for hiking.

I would just like to say Thank-you again to Brandon & Britany for letting us stay at their cabin. It was very peaceful & relaxing. The decor is beautiful, beds are comfortable & the whole place was clean. Oh, and we were able to do some fishing, caught a couple bass, perch & 1 small northern. Thank-you again!!!

We loved our stay! It's a charming and clean house in a perfect location! They have everything you need for a relaxing stay. The porta potty was very clean and smelled great! We woke up to deer and turkeys. We will be going back for sure!

The house has stunning views and was absolutely perfect for our annual fishing trip. The lake access was a bonus. There was plenty of space for everyone, the beds were comfortable and seating was ample. I would absolutely utilize this home again.

Cabin was exactly as descibed. Plenty of space for 6 adults to relax for a weekend, cook, and socialize. We went in winter/early sping so not much activity in the lake but the deck is a great spot to take in the view. Beds were very comfortable. Would stay again.

Loved your cabin!! so peaceful! loved seeing the eagles all day, catching small mouth bass, and lots of deer! your place is perfect for families with small kiddos, lots of toys, movies and games. he thought of it all! definitely will stay there again if we're in the area. thank you again for opening up your home.

Our stay at Hygge Valley Hideaway was a picture perfect weekend. Kammi was a wonderful host who clearly loves this property. The cabin-feel was so cozy, the sunset views were spectacular, and everything was clean and clearly marked. We loved our visit!

We loved staying at Chris’s place. We came in to town to see family and enjoy the snow. Sadly the weather didn’t cooperate and we only saw a small amount of snow the evening we arrived. But what can ya do?! Chris was incredibly responsive and attentive, even checking in with us the next morning as we had let him know we’d be arriving late on our check in day. The house was adorable and comfortable, we look forward to renting in the future when we come up to see family.

Carol’s place was perfect for our weekend stay while in Siren for a hockey tournament. Incredibly clean, private, peaceful, and perfectly laid out. She was a great host and made sure all our q’s were answered throughout our stay. Highly recommend anyone stay @ Carol’s cabin!

I book a home rental every year, at least once, and have had varying experiences. Brian's place had all the kitchen equipment/supplies that are sometimes missing. The lot is flat so we can see the kids in the lake from the porch and the lake is nice and shallow for swimming with our little ones. We had plenty of room and the bedrooms are set up for the perfect sleeping arrangements for our crew. It was easy to get in and Brian was always available when something came up. We appreciated Brian's suggestions for dining and touring and hope to do more of that next year. The only feedback that we all agreed upon was the couches are very slouchy toward the back and the chair was almost unusable. Maybe some foam under the cushions would help? The other seating was beautiful and very comfortable. It felt homey and was decorated very nicely. We hope to book again for next year!

Laura and Brad’s place looked great in the pictures, but the actual experience far exceeded the listing! In person it looked as though every inch of both floors has been recently remodeled or updated. We found the entire home to be spotless, and tastefully appointed with many premium touches. The soft-water showers were luxurious! My wife and I spent 3 nights here with my wife’s parents. It was absolutely ideal to each have our own entirely independent space connected by a stairway. We will definitely return!
