Cozy and authentic northern house from 1860! The house has been renovated with, among other things, a new bathroom from 2017 and a new kitchen from 2020. The house is located in Steigen on beautiful Engeløya which offers great fishing, midnight sun and panoramic views of the Lofotveggen! The house has 4 bedrooms, 8 beds! Large open kitchen with dining table for 10 people as well as spacious living room with wood burning stove and large lovely sofas! Right outside the door you have nice hiking areas, only 170 meters to the sea and sun until almost half past eleven in the evening!

It is located at the end of the road and therefore there is no car traffic past the cabin! Here you can enjoy the tranquility and the view, with sun from morning to evening🌞 Great opportunities to go mountain hiking nearby, or try your luck with fishing. The cabin is located in one of the best agricultural areas in Northern Norway. The roads and trails and nature in the mountains and along the coast and in the village here are well suited for nice trips. By bike and on foot. Or kayak. Here is a good basis for nature experiences, outdoor recreation and relaxation. Welcome to a nice holiday.

Gammelstua at Storsæter Gård on Engeløya in Steigen

The Old House of our farm, charming house with a spectacular mountain wiew! The house is built about 1880, the bathroom and the kitchen is renovated. Here you can travel back in time, no tv.. The stairs scueecs, and the floor can be a bit cold in the winter, but all is forgotten when you fire up the fireplace. The island is perfect for hiking, biking and kajaking. Check in after 4 p.m, check out before 12 a.m. Transportation to or from the boat can be arranged. We wish you a peaceful stay.

The timber walls from the late 1800s stop time and let you be filled with peace and new energy. You can choose to stroll up to Svartdalsvatnet, Sundsfjellet, Hestdalstuva, or you can take a walk down to the sea. You can choose to go into Sundsdalen and sit by Sundselva. You can walk to Alpøyvika or just sit quietly on the terrace reading a book.

Bright and pleasant cabin of about 45 sqm. 1 × 150 cm bed and single bunk bed. There is an extra mattress and bed in the loft. Mini fridge in the kitchen. Washing machine and freezer in the storage room. Toilet, sink and shower in the bathroom. Gazebo on the mountain by the sea. Large lawn with playground and trees to attach hammocks to. Small gas grill that can be used. 2 bicycles that can be used. Outdoor toys and games for children are also available.

Restored Barn Apartment on Engeløya

Røtnes is a beautiful bay on the stunning island of Engeløya, just opposite the Lofoten Islands. On the island you can find pristine, white beaches, mountains and valleys and the sea is crystal clear with plenty of fish. In our homestead we have a generous size barn where we have an artist studio, workshops and the guest studio apartment that we offer up as Air B&B. A wooden rowing boat, a canoe, kayaks and bikes to rent in spring, summer and autumn.

Skrivestua: Private cozy house in the courtyard of the small farm Bakkan Gård. The writing room contains a living room with a kitchenette and two bedrooms with a bunk bed (120 cm + 75 cm) in one and a 140 cm wide bed in the other bedroom. Bathroom with shower and washing machine. The cabin is located by the sea, and here are nice bathing opportunities. The nearest village with a shop and gas station is called Bogøy and is 14 km away.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful residence. Child-friendly area. 10 min from Leknes, which is the town in the middle of Lofoten. I can also help with a baby bed if needed. This place is a good starting point for exploring Lofoten during the day and relaxing in the evening. 2 km out towards Ure there is a nice summer café that serves both food and other refreshments.
