Historic Cramm Mill, Barn Apt. 5

Our apartment 5 is located on the 2nd floor of the historic barn of our listed water mill, which has existed since 1754. It is one of six studios that we built as part of a renovation and have been renting since May 2024. We have taken care to preserve as much of the historical character of the building as possible - the original wooden beams of the old barn adorn the apartment and the view of the open roof beams. The apartment is 43 square meters.

Until there is no 5 minute walk. Zell lies at 426 m and is framed by hills and mountains to over 1000 m altitude. It is a small town with good shopping and good connection to bus and train. You can borrow a bicycle for small tours for 5€ / day

Barn in the countryside

We and our two dogs warmly welcome you to our barn in the middle of the fields, on the edge of the forest and outskirts of Staufen. Our 75 square meter studio apartment is newly completed. Here you can enjoy the spectacular views and gigantic sunsets towards the Vosges. You are also welcome to bring pets, a tent or a caravan by arrangement. In just 1.6 km you can quickly reach Staufen's old town by bike or car.
