Authentic cozy house with private sauna Groningen

Authentic detached house full of atmosphere and equipped with all the comforts. Wooden floors, a modern kitchen, a private sauna in the bathroom and 2 double bedrooms on the ground floor with excellent beds give atmosphere and luxury. The spacious living with spacious Chesterfield sofa overlooks the Winsumerdiep. Onderdendam is a beautiful village 12 km away from the city of Groningen and has a protected village view. Our 2-pers. Canadian canoe and our 3 bikes are available for rent for a reasonable price.

Cozy guest house/ cottage. The guest house is cozy and spacious. The veranda is lovely to sit. The home has a private terrace. From the terrace there is unobstructed views (on the garden, horse box and meadow). Private use of a private kitchen, bathroom, 2 bedrooms. Beautifully located in a rural place with spacious terrace and garden. The nature reserve 't Roegwold and the Fraeylemaborg are steps away. Supermarket 1.5 km. Shield lake at 7 km. The city of Groningen is easily accessible.

Villa Selva: cosy cottage with spectacular view

Villa Selva is situated on our 1,5ha property on the edge of Loppersum. In this cosy cottage (the 'villa' of its name is slightly overstated) you'll find a living-/dining room, a small kitchen and bathroom with shower. There is one bedroom with one double and one single bed and the open attic has a second double bed. The cottage has small private terrace and garden facing south. On clear nights millions of stars twinkle overhead and the moonshine is so bright, you can read a book in it.

A stylishly furnished B&B, you stay in the restored front house from 1912. During the renovation, the history and the authentic colors of the early 20th century were taken into account. The B&B has its own toilet and bathroom. There is a small pantry with a fridge, kettle, toaster and a Nespresso machine. There's plenty of closet space for your clothes. A cabin from 2021 with all facilities you need. Easily accessible by car and located between Groningen and Delfzijl. The cabin is situated in the Hoogeland region which is known for its calming views and beautiful Groningen sunsets. It is not uncommon to see a herd of deer grazing during breakfast! The tiny house is highly recommended if you appreciate peace and simplicity. Amenities are just as described. The Tiny House is located in a row with four others, we found the other guests to be very discreet and nice. Check-in is straightforward. In the house there is a basic set of dishes and cutlery, details were missing, but on vacation that's fine... 🙂 The surroundings are very quiet, a quaint café is within walking distance, otherwise you can see a lot of nature, special waders and some sheep. 🙂 Highly recommended is the Nationaal Park Lauwersmeer or a day trip to Groningen.

The three of us stayed in Esther's apartment for a week and felt very comfortable there. The apartment is very tastefully decorated. Everything - dishes, etc., are available in sufficient quantity and quality. There's really nothing missing. For the first day and breakfast the fridge was stocked! We were welcomed with chilled sparkling wine. We especially enjoyed the spacious kitchen-living room, which is the center of the apartment. The apartment is located in the old town of Appingedam, a very nice place and a good starting point for trips to Groningen or Leeuwarden. Highly recommend both. We highly recommend this property and Esther as a landlady.

We have completely relaxed in this wonderful place in the countryside! The view is amazing, you see a different animal shooting past every time. It is a quiet, peaceful place, but you can quickly reach the hustle and bustle by going to the city of Groningen. Also be sure to choose the delicious breakfast with the fresh eggs from the chickens that walk around. In short, highly recommended!
