Cozy cottage in East Sussex

AdrienneRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
My husband and I and our 3yr old daughter stayed at Gemma’s cottage whilst on a weekend away to visit castles in Kent and the Seven Sisters cliffs (50 min drive away). The location was very convenient between Scotney Castle, Bodiam Castle and Chapel Down Winery. Lovely pub with nice food next door. Gemma was very helpful and responsive. We slept well and had a lovely time

Our stay at Katherine's Airbnb was lovely. The instructions given to us on how to find the Airbnb were clear. We did struggle to get network so it did take us awhile to locate the Airbnb, it would be helpful to download an offline map of the area in case network is an issue. The Airbnb was cosy, the views were stunning. We went to the Hub for breakfast the next morning which was a 5 mins drive away. There are also a few pubs in the area which looked good. I'd definitely recommend this Airbnb.

Lovely garden suite (with breakfast included)

We booked a last minute break and Sarah’s place was perfect! Peaceful, beautiful gardens and stunning, comfortable suite, it felt so calm and light despite the miserable weather. Sarah was really kind, friendly and understanding with flexible check in/out and the most delicious breakfast. We will be back soon.

Escape to the Sea

JacquelineRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We were in Hastings to catch Jack Dee and only booked one night. Tanya is really great to communicate with responsive and friendly. Finding and getting in is easy. The communal hallway/ stairs are tatty but my lord it doesn’t matter when you see the view from the living room. It’s absolutely stunning. The flat is spacious and very comfortable. The kitchen is cute and all you need. The bedroom is large, so quiet we had such a good sleep. Wish we had booked longer as I could stare out at the sea for hours! Great flat! Would not hesitate to stay again.

‘The Water Snug’ Floating Lake Cabin

JoeRating, 5 stars4 days ago
What a visit! We’ve absolutely loved every minute of our stay with Patrick and Juliette, they have created the most beautiful living space and could not have been more friendly and accommodating. It’s a fantastic spot for either a calm getaway or for if you want to do some exploring, and your hosts have excellent local knowledge that they are happy to share if you need recommendations for the area. We had planned to just relax on the boat for the whole time, but we actually wound up visiting nearby areas (Brighton, the beautiful Sheffield Park, local pubs) before retreating to the boat for the evenings, and we loved this mix. Could not recommend this place enough, it’s been our favourite holiday yet and I’m certain that we’ll be back in future!
