The Pinon Log Cabin is our version of a comfortably furnished, rustic studio-type vacation rental perfect for a single or a familiar two. With approximately 430 square feet, this little cabin is big on ease. Unexpected beauty is hidden along the valley where Bear Creek meanders. Sitting at the end of a well maintained 4 mile dirt road, you will find our 360 acres in southwest New Mexico surrounded by ancient cottonwood, Pinon and sycamore trees. (GPS: 32.969224, -108.525218). This "end of the road" cabin along with our 4 other rustic properties, will satisfy your need to disconnect, escape the cold, the crowds, the stress. The quaint Village of Gila is a 10 minute drive away and offers a medical clinic, library, post office, art gallery and is truly the "Gateway to the Gila Forest". Still convenient to major shopping in Silver City, NM and an easy 35 minute drive, you'll enjoy browsing a variety of shops, antique stores and boho, silver, turquoise homemade jewelry bodegas. You'll find a long list of of things to do and see: day or evening fine dining or fast food; multi-cultural cuisine or eclectic funk, Western New Mexico University, our local Farmers Market, theatre, an annual Fiesta, Little Toad Creek Brewery & Restaurant, art galleries, or antique stores (check out Manzanita Ridge)!! Day trips to big cities such as Tucson AZ, Las Cruces NM, and El Paso TX are easily made. Natalia’s condo is absolutely beautiful! Pictures match the listing. I came here on vacation with my dad and the place was perfect for the two of us. Great location near national parks, grocery stores, restaurants, etc. Plus mountain views. I did see a javelina walk through the backyard one morning and a roadrunner in the parking lot. Natalia was fantastic with information about the condo.

We came to Lubbock to celebrate graduation with my family so we needed a home close to Texas Tech and United Supermarkets Arena. We also needed a large enough home for 6 people including 2 children and 2 teenagers. Along with graduation we needed a weekend stay to hang out together and enjoy each other's company. This beautiful home fit the bill to a T. The kitchen was awesome, loved being able to cook dinner for my family during our stay. I have to say though the best part was all of the different games that were available to play and how wonderfully organized it was. All of my kids got to play games from the pool table and jenga to the beautiful outdoor space with different games. We had a great time staying here and had the opportunity to relax and decompress as a family. Would definitely recommend to others coming to stay at Lubbock. Those looking to stay with younger ones definitely need be proactive and mindful of them as there are many beautiful breakable decorations.

This was a great property. It was QUIET! I loved hearing only the owls at night. The hosts were friendly and helpful. The bed was great and the furniture comfortable. The shower was amazing. The apartment was the perfect size for me. I would stay here every time I’m in the area if available.

This is our second stay in Wade's Hillcrest home and I would book it again and again. His home is immaculate, well-stocked with everything one might need when away from home, and perfect for 3-4 people with its 2 bedrooms, both with generously ensuite bathrooms. The availability of a parking spot in the garage is appreciated as well. Lastly, Wade's home and yards are spacious and beautiful and make for a very relaxing stay.

What a lovely and relaxing home! It had everything that the listing described but with warmth that is hard to vocalize. We felt right at home as there were tons of thoughtful touches (like a throw blanket for the sofa) and plants. It felt like our vacation home. We may well stay here again the next time we visit relatives in this area. Note, this is a suburban neighborhood that is also conveniently located for visiting tourist sites. Thank you!

Our stay at this house was perfect! It’s in a great location, the outside is so fun and we loved the tiki bar. The location is close to so many things to do. All the bedrooms were great , the beds were comfortable, and four bathrooms was a huge plus. There were plenty of extra towels and pool towel which doesn’t happen very often. Mark was very responsive every time we had any questions. Great host. We will definitely rent it again!

Alice was an excellent host and provided a fantastic space to meet our needs. The rental is convenient to the University, yet still quiet and restful. We loved the intimate patio in the early morning while it was still cool. The neighbors were very friendly as well. We would definitely stay again!
