Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Stalida

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Marianthi's and Thodoris' house. The sea side view is just epic; from the hammock you can just chill, look over the sea and the mountains and feel the soft sea breeze. They are truly wonderful hosts, and they quickly responded to any requests from our side and provided us with nice suggestions on places to visit. The house was just beautiful and well cared for, especially the garden and patio were wonderful for our young kids who loved exploring and picking up lemons, that we used to make an amazing lemonade. Many days we started the day by walking to the nearby beach so that the kids could make sandcastles and we could relax into the day. We also enjoyed the restaurants at the beach that have a decent selection and good quality food. We would highly recommend this place to anyone, but especially to families with kids.

The place is exactly like in the photos and Anna is a great host! We had a great time staying there for our girls trip. The place is 5-7 min by foot to the sea and nearest beach & restaurants. Anna was always very kind and responsive when we needed to reach out to her for any questions. I recommend this place to everyone and will stay there again the next time I’m in Crete.

Lovely place to stay and well set up - we had a very comfortable couple of days Fabulous to be welcomed with fresh produce most of which was home grown in the fridge and a bottle of wine as well as oils and vinegar and tea and coffee Would definitely stay there again

It was a very pleasant stay. Appartement was neat and everything was there that you need. The first day the appartement was a bit difficult to find, but Konstatinos reacted immediatly with the right location. He welcomed us and showed everything in the appartment. There was a possibility to get the appartment cleaned in the middle of our stay. That was very nice. The beach was 5 minute walk. A lot of restaurants and beachbars to choose from. Check-out was also very easy. In front of the building there is a free, large parking space, sometimes you have to wait a couple of minutes before there was a free spot, but overall we had a spot most of the time. We highly recommend this appartment!! Thank you for this pleasant stay!

This is everything you hope for in an Airbnb. Beautiful, cozy, all the details and above all, hospitality. The house was full of art and personal touches, which we all appreciated. They had thought of everything a guest might need. Alexis brought us delicious food. The yard was private, and I took multiple naps on the patio. My family and I loved this little house. Because we were just a short walk from Knossos Palace, it was easy for us to get there before the crowds. I recommend getting tickets for 8 am to beat the crowds and the heat. Thank you 😊

It was all perfect!! The apartment is bigger than it looks in the pictures. Everything is very, very clean and lovingly furnished. There's nothing missing! The balconies are great, I enjoyed lying on the lounger in the sun and looking into the trees. Nobody can look up at the balcony in the bedroom. You really have your peace here. Just a few minutes' walk and you are in the lively old town. Nevertheless, you have your peace here. I was able to sleep well and the bed was very comfortable. You have everything you need here and I immediately felt very comfortable. The hosts are very pleasant and warm. I love Crete and especially Malia and can also recommend this place without restriction. There is also parking right in front of the house. Price and performance are excellent!! This property is on the top of our list of all of the Super-host level properties we’ve been at whether Air B&B or any other platform. Premium quality and high marks for design aesthetics promoting maximum relaxation inside or in the yard with breathtaking views all day long and spectacular sunsets. All meals at the property must be had out doors! It was a perfect retreat after long days of sightseeing. We would rent it again in a heartbeat and will recommend it to family. John & Autumn

We can only agree with the many positive reviews. We had a great time in the beautiful mountain village – it was a special experience. Every morning we had breakfast on the rooftop and enjoyed the tranquility. At first we thought we would miss the sea, but that was not the case at all. We really managed to relax – walks in the area were enough. We actually planned to do more, but we enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere so much that we took it easy. Nevertheless, we were traveling by car and made some nice trips, including to the coast, where we discovered great restaurants. A vacation that will stay with us in very good memory. The appartment was perfect, great location with a balcony and view of the sea. Close to nice restaurants and a quiet area. About a 10mins walk to the busier nightlife area. Was also easy to find taxis at the main street behind the appartment. The aircon worked well, and the flat had kitchenette ideal for 2 people. A small shower but worked well and we didnt mind it being small seeing you only spend 3mins of your day in it. Thanos was great at check in and check out and personally welcomed us even late on a friday night. he showed us around the neighborhood and gave reccommendations which was a nice touch.A really comfortable stay. Would stay again if we come back one day!

Giorgio’s place was beautiful and well maintained. He was always very responsive (Ben when we locked ourselves out) and gave us recommendations for the local super market and an AMAZING place for dinner. The home was very comfortable with a beautiful sea view and had everything we needed.

We had a very nice week in the apartment with our children of 4 and 6 years old. The apartment was as shown in the pictures of the ad! Clean, neat, spacious enough for 2 adults and 2 kids. Balcony on the smaller side with four of us, but that didn't bother us. We had regular contact with Magdalena, she always responded very helpfully and extremely quickly (within 5 min). That was very pleasant! She had also arranged a taxi from the airport to the apartment and back for us at the end of the week. For the kids enough to do here in the area, everything within walking distance: the small swimming pool, beach/boulevard, CretAquarium, Dinosaur park. I would definitely recommend the apartment! Furthermore, we found the area a bit outdated (although there is a lot of new construction coming!) and not very lively. We were there outside the holiday season.

Honestly Manos was an incredible host always checking in and ensuring we had everything that we needed. Highly recommend!

Giannis is a very invested, responsive and discreet host. We really enjoyed the welcome with a pastry (very good!), the oranges in the fridge as well as the drinks made available. The environment is very pleasant and the location is ideal, quiet but close to the promenade with restaurants. If we had questions, Giannis was always available as well as to make recommendations. Listing is as described. However, you shouldn't be too tall for the night area and the bathroom, but otherwise everything was great!

We (2 adults, 2 children) had a very relaxing time in Sonia's apartment. The surf of the sea accompanied us daily, the October sun allowed us to have breakfast outside daily. It was very special to be able to watch the sunrise in the morning directly on the stairs to the sea! The nearby sandy beach is within walking distance and the sea is wonderful for swimming and even snorkeling. The apartment is very lovingly and tastefully decorated. The layout of the rooms and size of the apartment were perfect for us. We felt very comfortable. Thanks for your hospitality, Sonia! :)

The place is as described on the site. Clean, cosy, quiet and exactly where you need it to be. 5min walk from the central Heraklion lion fountain. We were very happy with everything!!

Tasos is an extremely welcoming host. When we arrived late, we found a generously stocked fridge and freezer. Fruits, jams, rusks and cold and hot drinks were waiting for us. And Tasos was absolutely adorable to make our stay easier. We really appreciate it. Her apartment is very nice , the jacuzzi and the beautiful view make it a rare find. We highly recommend this rental, even more appreciated thanks to the many details Tasos has thought of.

We had an amazing time. Manolis is very helpful and friendly. He gave us some great recommendations of beaches to go to and restaurants. The apartment is in a great location. It has everything you need and is really nicely decorated and very clean. If we end up in Agios Nikolaos again we will definitely stay there again

The apartment is very pleasant : clean, modern, spacious and perfectly equipped. The small balcony and roof terrace are a real plus and add to the apartment's charm. Erietta and Manolis provide numerous recommendations for discovering Heraklion and its best addresses, which is particularly appreciated. Very responsive and attentive, they ensure that everything runs smoothly. An excellent experience, which I recommend without hesitation!
