The chalet is inside a green oasis of meadow, pasture and vegetable gardens, surrounded by a dense forest of centuries-old pine trees. The apartment is located in the back of Baltschieder. The neighborhood is very quiet with little traffic. The nearest train station (Visp) is approx. 5 minutes by car. Your accommodation is located at the entrance to the Baltschiedertal valley and you are surrounded by nature. The apartment is in the attic, from where you can look over the whole village. Here it is very quiet and the nature around you contributes to your relaxation. In every season Baltschieder is an ideal starting point for hikes and outdoor activities. In 30 - 70 minutes you can reach all major ski and hiking resorts. In bad weather there are thermal baths or indoor sports halls nearby.

Within 5 minutes you are at the ski valley resort of Belalp, which can be reached by car or bus. The house is heated with wood with the soapstone stove from 1882. In the bedroom there is another wood-burning stove with a view of the burning flames.
