Family-friendly vacation rentals in St. Paul's Bay

Shaun went above and beyond to make our stay in Qrendi memorable. The villa, pool and spa were amazing! It was like being in our own little paradise. When we ventured out, everything was easily accessible, including Hagar Qim, Valletta and a fabulous local swimming spot just five minutes away. Plus the airport was only 15 minutes drive. Our only regret is that we didn’t have a few more nights here. If you’re lucky enough to find this villa available, book it immediately!

Arnold is a super host. The villa was superbe. We stayed with three couples, and had a relax and very comfortable time at this place. We definitely want to come back!

Great house! Spacious, beautiful, and equipped with everything a family could need. The kids especially enjoyed the pool, swimming every day! The location is fantastic. Just a five-minute drive away, there's a great beach with a restaurant where we had lunch several times. There’s also a pizzeria and a store with all the essentials just a few minutes away. Stephanie was an excellent host. She sent useful information before we arrived and greeted us on arrival. There were one or two minor issues with plumbing that were sorted promptly and in a friendly manner. The place is really lovely especially the pool area. There were six of us but there is ample room for up to ten people . The Bolt taxi service is good but I would say a hire car is almost essential if, like us want to explore a lot of Malta. Mellieha is an excellent hub for water sports and the ferry to Gozo. Overall I think Citrine villa is a beautiful if a little faded gem.

Lewis was amazing, considerate and attentive. Communication was immaculate and super supportive he’s the best Airbnb host I have had, the place was just as amazing as the apartment itself, definitely worth the price and much more.

One of the best and most interesting places we’ve ever stayed! Mind was blown from the moment we walked in and exploring every corner of this huge property. Was the perfect home base to explore all of Malta during our 6 day stay. All amenities came in very good use and absolutely loved the layout. Highly highly recommend for a memorable stay!!

Moritz was super host- super quick to reply. The apartment is in a great location in my favourite place in Malta, super outside space for relaxing and enjoying the views of Spinola Bay You have an amazing choice of superb restaurants right on your doorstep. We cannot fault our experience with Mark Anthony. He organised a very helpful taxi driver to pick us up from the airport who knew the property location well and came back for us in the middle of the night for our return flight. As for the property it was clean, well maintained and very good value for money considering the great location. I would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

From the time of booking, communication with Tina was excellent – fast, helpful and with many useful tips (e.g. restaurant list). When we opened the balcony door, the breathtaking view of Valletta immediately impressed us. The location is ideal: ferries and buses are directly opposite, supermarket, restaurants and bars nearby. From the balcony you have a great view of the promenade of Sliema, and yet it is quiet in the apartment – the bedrooms are at the back. If we travel to Malta again, we would book this apartment again in a heartbeat. Small note: For Malta, you need an adapter for British sockets (type G).

Robert (and his lovely dog Duke!) was an incredible and attentive host. He provided amenities (such as a taxi service from the airport; fruit, bread and water), and helpful directions and recommendations. His apartment was full of charm and felt homey. It was steps to the water, and had views of the Upper Barrakka gardens. I highly recommend Robert’s place, and hope to return soon!

My partner and I had the best time at Sim's property. It is a beautiful flat, spacious and comfortable. Sim's recommendations were spot on and not like anything we had seen before - his level of detail in the information he sent before check in was unheard of. We are very happy to have stayed at Sim's flat and definitely recommend it!

We stayed at Duncan's place for nearly 3 months. Felt very much at home. The location was ideal and very peaceful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the house and in Gozo. Would thoroughly recommend.

Very spacious Apartment, Boy kitchen and balcony. Very peaceful area but still very reachable :)

We really enjoyed our stay in Matthew & Elaine’s town house with our 11 month old daughter. Communication was friendly and fast and when we missed a baby chair Elaine came to bring it to us right away. It should be noted that there is a lot of construction going on, at both sides of the house, but it’s not on a all day every day basis so it didn’t bother us too much. The walk to the beach is beautiful and it’s also easy to walk to the town square with some bars. If you have a rental car the whole island is easily accessible. Last of all we really appreciated the ‘welcome package’ with some fresh produce. Thanks!

This was our second stay at Marthese's place, and we just love it. Perfect for a quiet week of relaxation, always spotless and comfortable, and the smart TV is a great new addition if you want a quiet night in while you're there! Thanks Marthese!

A group of 11 of use stayed here. The property was amazing! Great for a hen party! Stunning views of the beach and the pool was lush! The communal space is very big and great for a large group both inside the property and out. The pool is a lovely temperature. The bedrooms had comfy beds and fitted everyone well. There were cockroaches sighted downstairs the first night, but they were everywhere is Malta so not a fault of the accomidation. We got taxis everywhere with bolt or Uber which were very reasonable. There is a local beach area you can walk down to which is really nice and peaceful!

Lovely place, the location was very good, perfect little and private pool yard. Isa and Jean Paul was very easy and nice to communicate with. The place is located close to a bustop making it very easy to get around Malta

A lovely week! Alexandra was so helpful and accommodating! There is a lot of building work on Gozo and the traffic past the house did reflect this but the house was outstanding! The garage over the road was pretty noisy too! We walked a lot as the temperature was perfect for adventuring. The village Sqaure is so pretty at night and we ate at a lovely local restaurant which had the most wonderful vegetarian and fish options!! Xlendi is in walking distance and was a firm favourite along with the sand buggie tour!!! Alexandra and her team clearly care and love this house and put a lot of attention into making it a fabulous and quirky place to stay!!! Thank you for everything!

We stayed in four properties during our trip to Malta & Gozo. This was by far the most professional and communicative host with the highest standard. The property has been cleverly thought through- from potato peelers and cheese graters to deckchairs- they are excellent quality. You are made to feel that you are valued and the host has not provided you with cheap utensils. The finish overall was amazing. It was well stocked with everything- indoor and pool towels. The tv is easy to use- we got Amazon Prime working easily. The pool is gorgeous and very peaceful. We felt safe as a family of four and found getting places using Bolt no problem.
