Chris was an incredibly gracious host. We connected after our family had a really rough time with another host. He went out of his way to ensure our family of 6 felt comfortable and welcome. I deal with a consistent amount of intensity in my career, and Chris' place gave us the escape and serenity that our family needed. He was always responsive and available when we had questions, yet very professional and kind. I would highly recommend this vacation home due to equal parts the accommodations themselves, but also the level of service that Chris adds to it all. I would absolutely stay again! I stayed at Marcia’s cabin the first week of April, as I wanted a peaceful and relaxing spring break getaway. The cabin is perfect for a quiet retreat - cozy with everything needed. The weather when I was there was mild winter weather, and although there was still lots of snow, I enjoyed sitting in the sunshine on Marcia’s beautiful back deck. This cabin is pet-friendly and my little beagle loved the fenced backyard. The cabin is two blocks from the lake, and we walked nightly to view the sunset over the vast snowy landscape. The cabin had everything I needed, including soft luxurious bedding, coffee bar, wood stove, and the relaxation that comes with a cozy wood cabin. I hope to return either in the summer months when the lakes and parks are active, or again in late winter when seeking rest and relaxation.

I spent 2 days at this place with my family and it was amazing experience for me. I would highly recommend. Everything was perfect and we enjoyed every bit of it. Thank you so much Rachelle for having such a beautiful place. I would definitely want to visit it again

Wonderful little cabin. Simple and yet with any amenities you might need to make the stay comfortable. Close to the city while still feeling like you're away from the hustle and bustle. Beautiful property, the trees offer a great amount of privacy, on top of setting the mood for a relaxing visit, and the fenced area offered my furry friends the freedom to explore for themselves. Norrie was very attentive and quick to respond to any messages, which we really appreciated. Great experience, would have loved to stay longer!

Couldn't have asked for more. Great location, well kept, new everything, VERY well supplied - bring clothes, your toiletries and food and you're set. Was surprised at just how well it was supplied, had every pot, pan and dishware we needed, cleaning supplies, you name it. Will admit the vacuum cleaner outsmarted us, but we got by and made it work lol.

Our family spent the long weekend - despite the chilly May weather, the cabin was cosy and inviting. The location is great and the cabin was cheerful and so comfortable to stay in. We had a great stay!

We spent a wonderful weekend at Dave's place, and the children were very happy. They saw many little squirrels. The kitchen is fully equipped and we also had a BBQ on Saturday night which was very easy to operate. But remember to bring mosquito repellent. Thanks to Dave and Camille for all the preparation and communication, we will consider coming back again.

The place was so much better than what we expected. The entire house was clean and the kitchen was newly updated and we'll equipped. Had great sitting areas where the whole group can gather and play games. Bedrooms were also amazing and had more than enough beds for us. The game room was really cool and kept everyone entertained. Overall great stay and will definitely book again.

Great place to stay with 3 bedrooms and perfect for 4 guys ice fishing. The 1.5 bathroom was great for getting ready or morning calls. Lots of room for fishing gear and winter clothes. The kitchen was great for making all our meals along with a big fridge.
