Never ever have I seen such a spotless home! Suresh is a wonderful host, very forthcoming, professional and also friendly. Privat, quiet, great place. We had everything we needed. There is a corner shop right across the street. Café Ivy is not too far off - a cozy breakfast/lunch place.

Nice studio apartment. TV with cable channels. Kitchenette was good. Big space. Difficult for taxi to find, as no street name, but great directions from host. Nishani was eager to help whenever possible.

I had a genuinely happy, warm & lovely experience in Roshanthi’s and Jimmy’s place. Both of them were extremely kind and gracious in the way they welcomed me and made sure I was okay at every point. This is a rare gem of a space - for the quality of the space and the price it’s offered at. Being a yoga practitioner I had no qualms doing my practices in the room itself. It’s well lit, the windows allow ample air to come in. The bathroom is clean and neatly organized. There’s a warm corner with a desk and it’s the perfect workspace for late nights. Early mornings are quite peaceful with the light that pours in from the window and openings. It’s got everything you need. The place has a charming vibe that takes you back in time and makes you feel at home instantly. The room is a perfect fit for anyone who wants to feel at home in Colombo. It’s a testament of Roshanthi and Jimmy’s commitment to offering a genuine and worthwhile experience to everyone they have opened their home to.

It was a very good welcome in Sri Lanka, near the Airport and very friendly people, who helps you with everything. Perfect stay After a Long flight and to calm down. The Breakfast and Lunch was very good, too.

Staying at Charini's place was a truly pleasant and peaceful experience. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel incredibly welcome and cared for, attending to every detail to ensure our comfort. The meals she prepared were absolutely delicious, showcasing authentic flavors that we thoroughly enjoyed. Adding to the charm of our stay were her adorable dogs, who were absolute angels and brought so much joy to our time there. The location itself is stunning, showcasing attention to detail and a real love for traditional/ classical Sri Lankan artefacts. We left with a fantastic impression and complete satisfaction with the entire experience. We highly recommend staying here for anyone seeking a memorable and heartwarming getaway

This place was a great find. I loved the location and the private nature of the unit. The host's parents were the sweetest people I met in Sri Lanka. They were very helpful and caring. The room is private and has all the amenities that's described in the listing. It's a little far from Negombo beach but it's located in a very peaceful and safe neighborhood. Great choice for solo travellers/couples . If I come back, this place will be my first choice.

I cannot say enough of my stay at Natasha’s place. It’s exactly as described. I found Natasha place relaxing, very clean with all the things in a home provided as expected and you only had to ask if need anything. The places I wanted to travel to were fairly close. I found Natasha and co-host Gihan absolutely wonderful hosts very knowledgeable and very helpful and understanding no task was too hard and treated me like family including Natasha mum a lovely lady. I had a wonderful time loved every moment. I would definitely recommend any person staying at Natasha’s place.

We had a wonderful stay at Batay Guesthouse in Kegalle. The house is beautiful, well-maintained, and rich in family history, which adds a unique charm to the experience. Everything was spotlessly clean and surrounded by a harmonious garden that creates a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. One of the owners, Mrs. Shiromi, was exceptionally kind and welcoming. Along with her attentive staff, she made sure all our needs were met with warmth and efficiency. The ladies in the kitchen truly spoiled us with delicious traditional dishes, bringing to life the authentic flavors of the local culinary heritage. In short, this is a peaceful haven — a perfect place to rest, recharge, and explore the many interesting activities the area has to offer. Thank you!

Nice, self contained flat within walking distance of central Colombo. Loved the washer, drier and air con. Panoramic view of Colombo from bed. Loved the stay, would stay here again.

Great stay The place is close to the rainforest, so a guided tour of it is possible. This was very exciting and a highlight of our Sri Lanka trip. We had a good time. The pool was nice and we liked our room with a large balcony too. For the price including breakfast you cannot complain. In some cases, you may still be able to work on communication. Some cooperation could not speak English and it was not quite clear when the tour starts, so we were there for almost an hour and waiting. Overall, however, this is manageable and hardly diminishes our good impressions. Thanks Prasad!

You get the entire second floor in a beautiful house. The location is good, not too far from shopping districts but not too close either, just right. The garden is lovely and always full of squirrels, and I can't even list the number of amazing creatures I've seen from the windows while staying here. The host is extremely friendly and accommodating. We liked it so much, we stayed for another month!

Wijith's stay was impeccable clean, we'll appointed, and had all the furnishings you would need to have a comfortable stay. We especially enjoyed the outdoor terrace and ate all our meals there. The property is located at the end of a street and incredibly private, and the CCTV and garage made us feel very safe. It takes about 20-30 minutes to get into the heart of Colombo, but you have all the necessary groceries and food options available closeby. Wijith himself was very respectful and attentive and made sure we were comfortable during our stay. Would recommend this stay for anyone who wants to have a little peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of the main city, while still being able to access it via tuktuk or cab.
