The host family has done a superb job in bringing comfort to a historic home. One of the few places in Puglia with true heating system and nice hot water. I'd recommend this place even in winter. Beautiful tiny house with good ambiance light - pictures do not do it justice. While it does not have a "dedicated" workspace the kitchen table is comfortable with good natural light. It is squeaky clean. We loved this place. Grazie mille signor Enrico e moglie.

We had a great stay at Antonio and Karina's Villa. It was very clean, each room had a bathroom, a spacious kitchen with all kinds of necessities and a nice seating area outside. The swimming pool with nice sunbeds was also a big plus. The kindness of the owners Antonio and Karina made it a top stay!

The stay at Casa donna Sofia was really wonderful and regenerating! Upon arrival we were greeted with a sweet welcome, as Mr. Emanuele had left us the typical Apulian almond pastries in the house. A real treat for the taste buds! The apartment offers all the comforts you can expect for a relaxing holiday. The ceiling made with the typical Apulian stone invites you to take an imaginary journey into the Salento tradition, while you are enchanted to admire the interlocking of the living stone. In the solarium area on the terrace, a panoramic view of the village and sunbeds await you to relax and enjoy the surrounding silence. The location of the property is great for walking to the elegant historic center of Specchia. In addition, Casa donna Sofia is located a few kilometers from many seaside resorts in the area and scenic areas also suitable for those who do cycling tourism or want to explore the paths of Salento. Thanks for the hospitality!

Gabriella's place was absolutely stunning! The photos can't do the beautiful grounds and landscape justice. Both Gabriella and Clara were extremely responsive and helpful whenever we had questions, and their local suggestions for beaches, sights and restaurants were great. Both ourselves and our friends (who were staying at one of the other villas on the property) were travelling with infants, and found the layout and amenities (they tracked down a second set of cribs/high chairs for us) great for children. Would absolutely recommend this place for anyone looking to explore Salento.

A clean bathroom space is presented with white tiles and light-colored fixtures. A round sink is set on a cabinet, accompanied by a toilet. Two small rugs add a touch of warmth to the floor. A shower curtain offers privacy and separation.

A special stay for 3 nights, in a lovely setting. Alessandro gave us fantastic recommendations for local shopping, and the kitchen faculties were great to cook in ! Spongano is a cute town, check out the icecream shop too. Alessandro's place has lots of space, and makes you feel like you're really staying in Italy !
