Need a getaway in the middle of the woods? Come visit the Whispering Pines Cottage in the mountains. Surrounded by beautiful nature, streams, forests, hiking trails, and so much more! We are located near Linn Run State Park, Powdermill Nature Reserve, Seven Springs Mountain Resort, Ohiopyle, and the beautiful, quaint village of Ligonier! Our cottage has a full kitchen with all the basics, 2 beds, and a fully equipped bathroom. We do not have cell reception. Our wifi is VERY SLOW/does not work.

If you have stayed here before, we are upgrading! Starting 9/1/2024 we will have trash collection, A/C and other upgrades! Beautiful 2 Bedroom cottage located in the heart of the Laurel Highlands. Enjoy summer afternoons lounging on the spacious deck, or stay warm on winter evenings next to the fireplace. In Bear Rocks, Acme, PA, a friendly and sleepy little community six miles from Donegal exit on PA Turnpike. 15 Miles from Seven Springs 19 miles from Fallingwater 21 Miles from Ohiopyle.

Thelma’s Place is a completely renovated 2 story house, nestled in the beautiful Laurel Highlands, yet conveniently located right along Route 982. It’s just minutes from Arnold Palmer Airport and the city of Latrobe, as well as Westmoreland Fairgrounds. Pittsburgh is within an hour’s drive. Ohiopyle, Fallingwater, and Seven Springs (20 miles away), are other nearby attractions. We welcome long term stays, including guests looking to work remotely. It truly has a “home away from home” feel.

Bring the whole family to this charming, three-bedroom, two bath home in the Laurel Highlands, a short drive from the Westmoreland Fairgrounds. In the winter, this location is just a 30 minute drive to Seven Springs Ski Resort. In the spring and summer, explore one of the nearby Mammoth or Twin Lakes parks. In the fall, enjoy the beautiful autumn colors for which the Laurel Highlands are famous. There are numerous shopping and dining options within 20 minutes. We welcome extended stays!
