North Shore Coastal Community/Post & Beam

KatieRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Sharon was extremely friendly! She went out of her way to find breakfast pastries for my food allergies! Super sweet! Wonderful space, private room and bathroom. We felt very at home and loved the neighborhood. Lovely drive to nearby areas like Newburyport and Salem. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a cozy home away from home.

FV26 Recently renovated golf course cottage!

CarolRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Beautiful place and spotlessly clean. Very spacious — it’s actually bigger than it appears in the photos. Convenient 2-minute drive to ski area. Bretton Woods Vacations was great to work with; when we had one glitch with signing the contract due to a last-minute change (added a night), they were able to reconcile quickly. I suspect the issue was more an Airbnb technical glitch than anything BWV did. Overall a great stay — would definitely book thru BWV again and would certainly stay in this unit.

Guest room in a private home

SueRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Shirley and Mac are fabulous hosts! I felt welcomed the second I was met at the door and feel like I left friends behind not just hosts. The house is lovely and it was wonderful to relax by the wood stove and spend time sharing stories. The bedroom is cozy, the bed super comfortable and the bathroom is immaculate (as is the entire house) The house is rural and so very peaceful yet just a quick drive to Belfast. I highly recommend a stay here.

Witches Dorm-Salem School of Witchcraft

J MichaelRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
A+. This place is why I come to Airbnb: unique, immersive, and full of character. I stayed in the Witches Dorm, and it felt like part of the adventure, not just a place to sleep. The decor was rich and authentic, and the common room was so cozy I spent hours writing and reading there. The 2 twin beds were comfy (even for a 6'1" guest.) Hope, the host, is fascinating and has some amazing stories, but also totally respects your space. She keeps the common area well-stocked with snacks, coffee, and drinks, which made mornings and late nights easy. Uber was always available and affordable (~$6–10), making it easy to get around if you don’t feel like walking the scenic 25–30 mins to downtown. The walk downtown can be super varied tho—walking along the coastline one day, thru a park the next, and a myriad of ways down tiny New England streets w cute houses all about the same travel time. My first time in Salem. Felt safe at all hours. Would absolutely stay at this property again. A+

Suite with private entrance

JanisRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Bonnie & Doug were the best hosts! Accommodations perfect for our needs. Large bedroom with sitting area, light & airy. Private full bath and private entrance. Very nice patio outside and a wonderful front porch/room where we had breakfast (delicious!) . Bonnie's recommendations for attractions & restaurants were great. We actually were able to see all the recommended attractions and loved them! Doug's pottery is beautiful and he showed us how he makes his spectacular lamps that he has on display in his store. Such good people who were very comfortable to be with. Shared good conversations. We would highly recommend this couple's B&B.

Claudia was an awesome host and very responsive. We had a good night stay in a nice private bedroom with private bathroom. We really appreciated her hospitality with breakfast food that was left out so kindly for us. Although it was such a brief stay on our road trip, we will consider staying here again in the future if we are in the area!

GillianRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Dr. Jerr is a very kind and generous host - he provided us with fresh coffee and breakfast snacks each morning during our stay. We loved the location on Cape Elizabeth, close to Portland, and to many beautiful coastal and woodland trail walks. We came home laden with fish, flash frozen from the fish markets in Portland - thank you Dr. Jerr for your recommendation. We would wholeheartedly recommend staying with Dr. Jerr for exploring the stunning Maine coast and hope to find ourselves back on Cape Elizabeth again next year. Tom & Gillian Hamilton

Christine was gracious and kind by giving me time to myself when I needed it and being helpful and accommodating at other times. She very kindly provided breakfast in the morning and good advice on taking a more scenic and enjoyable path to my next destination. My dog was treated very well. O'Reilly House Capt. Room #1-Entire 3rd floor!

IsabellaRating, 5 stars8 months ago
We LOVED the Samuel O’Reilly House! We intend to visit Conway/North Conway for longer at some point in the future, and we will definitely be booking here again. All of the rooms are themed, and we stayed in the Captains Quarters on the third floor. The interior design was cozy, unique, and innovative. The front porch was lovely, as were all of the common areas; everything was very clean. There was a private chef in the mornings that creates a small menu and makes any of those options for you. The food was creative and exquisite. There were homemade baked goods on the front table at all times. The mountain view from the backyard area was gorgeous, and there was a little path that led to the river. We had a medical alert service dog with us and they were very accommodating of that. The staff also suggested a lot of great places to visit in town which we found to be very helpful. Overall, we had an amazing trip and we can’t wait to come back to experience some of th

Private Suite with deck/view/ocean access!

WOW! Just wowwwwwwwwwwwwww!!! The million dollar view of the water, boats, buildings, birds . . . just breathtaking especially at night when it's all lit up. My quarters were comfortable, clean and so cozy. The hosts were so kind and gracious . . . even baked biscuits! They offered the hot tub and a walk down to the beach. I didn't do those things, as I already had a full itinerary of activities to do in Maine. The lighthouses were all minutes away by car. Great restaurants minutes away. I had a lovely time. If I ever return to Maine, and I'm pretty certain I will . . . I'm definitely staying with Dee and her husband. Thank you for making my first trip to Maine so pleasant and headache-free. All the best!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful, thanks to such a considerate and thoughtful host. It truly felt like we were visiting an old friend’s home—the crib and toys thoughtfully set up for our toddler made us feel instantly at ease, and the fresh fruit and pastries waiting for us at check-in were a lovely touch. Örs was warm, welcoming, and always available if we needed anything. The location itself is stunning and couldn’t have been more perfect. We left feeling relaxed and grateful—highly recommend!

Mary and Jim were great hosts. Mary in particular was hilarious; she shared many interesting stories with my friend and me. She took us on a mini tour of the grounds of her house which had magnificent views of the White Mountains all around. She gave us recommendations for short day hikes with great views. Cell reception is poor so keep your GPS on after you arrive. The house had a cozy, homey, welcoming vibe. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. The shower had good pressure and plenty of hot water. We ate fresh eggs for breakfast from Mary’s hens. The best part of our trip were her dogs Dougal and Fergus who were very enthusiastic and playful, and the flock of hummingbirds that arrived in the late afternoon to drink from the feeder. 100% recommend staying here for a relaxing nature getaway from the city.

Lovely home, great location and friendly and helpful host. Felt more like a "hosted B&B or inn" rather than the more common experience I've had with Air B&B of the host being available but not a visible presence. If you are looking for a private, nonengaging experience, this might not be for you. However, if you enjoy meeting your host, we found Bob to be warm and cheery and he made us a lovely breakfast with excellent coffee. Rosy was away so we did not meet her, however, her decorating talents were much on display from the tableware to the linens and accoutrements, all of which made us feel like we were special guests.

Bjorn and Elaine know how look after their guests. It was a pleasure to stay with them whilst exploring the White Mountains region. They gave good food recommendations nearby, made me extra coffee for my flask and asked me about the adventures I had been on. Perfect hosting! The room was super clean and comfortable with space to park the car and lovely indoor and outdoor areas for guests to enjoy a coffee or a beer. Will stay there again if I’m in town.
