Perfect location for the wedding we were attending. Very comfortable and clean cottage with everything we needed.

I recently stayed at Harry Eyre Cottage in Castleton, Peak District, and it was a great getaway. The cottage is beautifully appointed, combining modern amenities with a cozy, rustic charm. Its location is perfect for exploring the stunning landscapes and hiking trails of the Peak District. Overall, Harry Eyre Cottage is a hidden gem that I wholeheartedly recommend for anyone seeking a peaceful and picturesque escape.

Beautiful house in stunning surroundings. very quiet and peaceful. We walked to Annabelles Cafe which was about a 25/30minute rural walk and very much worth it when we got there, great food and drinks in the sunshine were had! The house had everything we needed and was very clean. We paid a little extra for a later checkout and were glad we did so that we could enjoy breakfast once more in this gorgeous place. The hot tub was a great added extra and we made great use of it while we were there.

Fantastic house for my group of friends. We were out hiking both days and found the place amazing. Bit tricky to find as it’s not on the road the address gives. Lara and John were fantastic, available and very accommodating. It’s a beautiful home in a beautiful location. Highly recommend

We visited as a group of three. We are keen walkers and had based our walks starting from Edale. Tommy's house and location was absolutely perfect. The photos on Airbnb do not show just how lovely it is in reality. It really is stunning. Absolutely immaculate and we all felt at home immediately. The property has its own grounds covering acres so on our first day we went out walking and exploring with no one else around. The property is in a prime location but also has a feeling of seclusion. Perfect for just chilling or going off hiking,exploring etc. I want to give Mike who is the estate manager a massive big shout out as he was so so helpful and friendly. He gave us loads of tips about the area which really helped us and saved us one unnecessary trip out. We met the owner Tommy whilst there who was very friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough to help. We are already looking to plan our next walking trip and stay again next year Thank you Tommy,Mike and staff.

Birch Cottage was beautifully presented and perfect for a family get together. There was plenty of space, definitely did not feel cramped or on top of each other. The bathrooms were clean and modern, presented with complimentary toiletries. The bedrooms were a good size with adequate storage. The beds were comfortable and the bed linen was pristine. The location of the cottage is stunning, halfway up a hillside with plenty of challenging walks literally on the doorstep. The pool area exceeded expectations. It was modern, clean and warm. Sophie pre-arranged with me the times that the occupants on our cottage would use it and that worked out fine. I would have no hesitation in recommending Birch Cottage and hope to visit again some day.

Our stay here couldn't have been more perfect. We were met by Helen as we were parking up and she gave us a lovely welcome and explained everything we needed to know. The cottage was lovely, clean , spacious, quiet and private. The balcony offers fantastic views and in the evening we were even lucky enough to see two owls flying around the hill side. Castleton is such a perfect village for a visit, beautiful views, fantastic walks on the door step and great pubs. As we left, John and Helen both asked us how we enjoyed the stay, and waved us off on our way. It was the perfect weekend and we will absolutely be back.

Our stay at Brown Bread Cottage was delightful. Andre provided clear instructions to find the place, the laminated booklet inside was informative, gave us plenty of recommended local activities and how to use the hot water and heating so despite the rural location, we were always comfy and clean. The locally sourced milk in the fridge on arrival was a great touch. There is also a Wii with a good selection of games for those relaxing in the evening. It’s within walking distance of Edale, which has fantastic eateries with picturesque views. As well as small towns, less than a 10 minute drive away with everything you could need, such as bakeries, general stores, fuel and more. Andre greeted us on arrival, and left us to it. Despite it being a small cluster of cottages, the property is very private and doesn’t feel like you’re living in someone else’s property like some other stays. Will be staying again to do more of the local walks once my fractured knee is healed!

My room shower room we’re absolutely spotless. The bed was extremely comfortable and I slept soundly. The view from my windows was a lovely rural scene which was very calming. Both Jayne and Ant were very friendly and helpful and quick to respond to any questions. In the unlikely event that there were any issues, I am confident that they would be resolved quickly. If I ever visit that area again, the Station Masters Cottage would my first choice.

Excellent stay in this lovely cottage, exactly as shown and described in the listing. Beautiful location for hiking on the hills straight out of the door and for exploring the local villages. Cottage very well-appointed with all required amenities and furnished to a high standard. A real home from home!

What a lovely place to stay, had excellent instruction on how to get there and to get into the apartment, then to find a hand written note welcoming us with a jar of chocolates was a lovely touch. I couldn’t fault the place, so much so that we will be returning in the future.

What a gorgeous setting. Chickens wandering around, cows out the back. Views to die for. Beautiful basket of local produce waiting for us. House was modern, clean, tidy and really well presented. Will definitely be returning

Such an amazing find. The pictures don’t do this place and its surroundings justice. So peaceful and private. Homely vibe inside. Very clean and comforting! Little extras such as milk, butter, bread and a beautiful cake on arrival. The value for money is exceptional. I would recommend to anybody thinking of staying here, you wouldn’t regret it. I only wish I made the stay longer.

Unfortunately, due to a crisis, my partner and I had to go straight back home almost as soon as we arrived, so we didn't stay for the weekend with the rest of the group! But when we arrived, we saw everything spick and span, and as described in the listing. And Fiona could not have been more responsive and accommodating with arrangements beforehand. Thanks Fiona, sorry we didn't get to meet in person! :)

We had a three night stay at Rachel's apartment. The location is beautiful and located very close to lovely walks and eateries. We highly recommend going to to the Bradfield Plough which you can walk to from Fox holes. Enjoy a lovely meal and join in their quiz night on a Tuesday evening, it's fun and friendly. Rachel's apartment is very comfortable and attention to cleanliness is very apparent. The location is stunning, you can sit on a bench outside and admire the beautiful view across the valley. Overall I would highly recommend a stay at Rachel's, I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

A wonderfully peaceful place to stay in the Peak District with fantastic walks out of the door. Denise is incredibly friendly and helpful making us feel right at home. This was our second visit and we look forward to staying again.

Pheasants Crossing was an amazing getaway! The path to get to the house was a little confusing, as it appears you are walking through someone’s front yard, but once settled we had a lovely time. The amenities are top of the line, and the area is pristine, with footpaths to beautiful views less than 5 minutes away. Not the best cell service, but I would list that as a benefit! 10/10 would love to visit again!

Nice house quiet area good location to get to different tourist destinations.

Sheila's cottage was extremely cosy, and a step away from beautiful hikes in the Peak District. The check-in and out were as easy as can be. After our hikes, we had a great time relaxing by the fireplace. We would definitely come again!
