300 year old barn conversion

A really ideal place to stay with simple but great facilities and careful thoughts to the details. Check in was easy and there is plenty of on street parking. The place was spotlessly clean. Highly recommended.

Guest Suite in Holmfirth

MasonRating, 5 stars6 months ago
Beautiful and cosy little suite, host was very friendly, responsive and I felt very welcomed even with me bringing my two large dogs. The suite was ideal for the dogs as they had a secure, enclosed little space to go outside. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in the area, Helen was a lovely host and made us all feel right at home! Only real thing to point out was she does have two dogs herself that occasionally bark at noise but for someone like me this is a non-factor and personally doesn't bother me at all and it is disclosed in the description of the property. They were quiet for the majority of the stay even though I also had two dogs myself, with one of them being a fairly chatty husky. Would definitely consider staying again whenever I'm in the area! 5/5.

Squires stable1 Leger lakes

StellaRating, 5 starstoday
The old stable house was lovely, cosy and clean. The separate bedroom is small, but we easily fit an extra baby cot and we could still move around. The terrace was very handy to keep our toddler from wandering off and a great place to enjoy our morning tea. The tea room is a great place for lunch or breakfast. It is open till 16:00, after that everything is calm and quiet. We had a lovely stay and good quality sleep. Everyone was kind and friendly, I can definitively recommend staying here!

Rustic Barn accommodation Twin Room

VictoriaRating, 5 stars9 months ago
After a long and late search, I booked this little gem the night before we stayed. Jackie responded so quickly and was already asking how she could make our stay as comfortable as possible. The place was even better than the photos and description to be honest. I was so impressed by all the cute little touches and attention to detail. The surroundings were breathtaking too. I would highly recommend this place and I have plans to be back with my family also. The host Jackie was always on hand with any questions I had as well as being super generous in supplying the bottle of wine we requested late in the evening - what an absolute star!

Threshing Barn- Modern Barn for 10 people

AndyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We booked a surprise 60th birthday for my wife and with multiple couples and food to coordinate it really REALLY helped having Emma on the end of questions answering them really quickly. The place is lovely and we all had our own space, if the heat retained in the building during our stay was anything to go by it’d be lovely in winter too! Emma made some great recommendations and made sure we felt relaxed and right at home with milk in the fridge and tea bags ready for the all important first brew! Suffice to say I’ve got a load of credit from my wife who loved the stay because of Emma.
The Grade II castellated farm building presents a striking stone façade, featuring multiple windows and towers. Lush green grass surrounds the structure, with gentle hills visible in the background under a partly cloudy sky. The spacious setting conveys a sense of tranquility.

Historic Oak Beamed Apartment Sleeping 5 Bradfield

DagmarRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We know the area and had stayed here twice before some years ago. Everything was as described and expected with the property. The area is beautiful with spectacular views and the farm buildings retain their character. The accommodation was very comfortable with good quality furniture and appliances. Plenty of towels and extra pillows were available too. We met Katie when we checked in and she filled us in on details. Very good advice about being patient with the shower to get the water flowing. We were aware that mobile phone reception was very poor but internet was good throughout. The laundry facilities with 2 very large capacity washers and a dryer were a real bonus for us as we are on an extended holiday, much of it in hotels. Would recommend the property and would definitely stay again .

We had a fabulous stay at Hilary's barn. They are such welcoming hosts but also ensure you have your privacy. We stayed in the lovely barn which is in a quiet location just a few minutes walk from bustling Castleton. A huge garden where you can have your morning coffee and gaze at the lovely scenery. Cannot recommend highly enough. We will be returning for sure.

Host & Stay | The Hay Loft

KaraRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Lovely place to stay. Very, very clean, great space and right next door to Nostell Priory. There’s plenty of space, everything is brand new and modern, the pool table and TV are excellent. The digital heating is also great, can imagine it being super cosy come winter. The entrance is very hairy to exit from - you cannot see the oncoming traffic until you pull out and it’s a 60mph road (eek!) - also, trying to find the property with just a house name and no street number from a busy main road was stressful. But, if you navigate to Engine Lane and enter/exit property from there it’s much easier and safer. It was a great stay, I would book this place again and again and again!
A view through a rustic window frame reveals a well-equipped kitchen and dining area. The space features wooden surfaces, modern appliances, and a decorative bowl at the center of a polished table. Natural light enhances the inviting atmosphere of the open-plan layout.

Winhill Cottage at Oaker Farm, stunning views

ChanningRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We spent a delightful 4 days at Julie's in early April as a family of 4. The cottage was a perfect size for our group and kitted out well for cooking, with great laundry facilities, tons of books, games and movies available. The location is perfect for exploring the area and you're only minutes from town, yet the property feels so private and peaceful. The entire space was lovely and super clean. The hosts are on the property and provided great communication throughout our stay, plus had helpful local recommendations. We had a great time and plan to return!
