Vacation rentals with lake access in South Melbourne

Chris was very helpful and even offered to help out with transportation options ie gave our party his Ute to use for road trips as he felt sorry for us given the f1 was cancelled. The home was tidy and comfortable and is in an amazing spot for the F1. We hope to come back next year ! (COVID-19 free)

We loved this house!!! Lauren has done a beautiful job of furnishing and decorating this old 70s house. From the front, the street appeal isn't great but that doesn't matter at all once you enter. It's VERY spacious, stylish, comfortable and homely. The beds were comfy, the kitchen well equipped, Lauren even provides multiple towels for each guest which is so lovely when having a longer stay! It's the small, thoughtful touches like this that can make a huge difference.. There are books and games for both kids and adults alike. Lauren is so helpful and friendly, and was always quick to respond. Despite being an older house, we can't fault our stay, we absolutely loved it and would happily return. Thank you so much Lauren!!

Beautiful house it was so easy to find and felt just like home, beds felt amazing and comfortable. The house was super clean and was perfect for staying, would definitely stay longer. Especially the shopping centre being only a 5 min drives was perfect for shopping.

Stayed here for 3 nights and felt very homey and comfortable. Lyn was very responsive and responded fast. Would recommend to stay :)

Very good, clear and easy communications and always quick to reply with helpful information. the apartment is lovely and in a safe, secure, modern building and area. the location was great for the city with easy transport links or a cheap uber ride. great views of Albert Park. Plenty of restaurants a short walk away in st kilda. The apartment is fantastic, everything we needed for the 4 of us for a comfortable, easy stay in Melbourne. thank you for letting us stay here, we had a great trip.

Mary’s place was the perfect place to spend a month settling into Melbourne. Mary was super responsive and helpful and the place had everything you needed to be right at home for a long term stay. The gym and pool in the complex were nice additions.

Place is very good and exactly what the description says I would recommend staying there!

Louise’s apartment was just perfect! Cosy and full of charm. We felt so at home. The apartment was perfectly set up and had everything we could possibly need. The location was great with trams, cafes, restaurants, a supermarket and Albert Park all out the front door. Louise is a fabulous host! She was so helpful and made our stay seamless. She even left lovely birthday surprises for the girls. Highly recommend!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Melbourne Lifestyle Apartments. Very clean and nicely laid out apartment with great views. Little extras like the complimentary early luggage storage, red wine and Tim Tam chocolate biscuits were very much appreciated. The tramline right on the doorstep made commuting into the central city and Melbourne Park for the Australian Open tennis very easy. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we will be back!

Our two visits 'bookended' a two week holiday in Tasmania, via Ferry rides with car. We very much appreciated being able to visit and stay at Christines accommodation.

My mum, sisters and I had the most beautiful stay at Julian and Susie’s! The cottage was absolutely perfect and so cosy, not to mention how stunning the surrounding gardens/views were. We enjoyed every moment and hope to book another stay there again! Thank you Julian and Susie for being wonderful hosts and making our stay one to remember.

My partner and I stayed here for the weekend for some wine tasting and a hot air balloon ride. The cabin was really nice and felt so authentic. The atmosphere and environment was beautiful - the surrounding farm lands really added to the authenticity of the cabin experience as well as the well-kept antique furniture. The whole cabin reminded me of my late great aunt’s home back in South Carolina — pure nostalgia for me. The kitchen was super functional, the hot tub was great, the heated floors in the bathroom was an excellent touch, the single air-con was incredibly efficient in keeping the entire cabin cool in the summer heat but I would recommend bringing a personal fan just in case. Overall a fantastic experience, looking forward to staying again

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A cozy, welcoming cottage with a beautiful timber finish inside that gave it a warm, homely feel. The garden was full of colour and charm, and the fresh muffins and fully stocked fridge were such thoughtful touches. The hosts were lovely and very responsive — we felt well looked after from start to finish.

Kate and Evan have a BEAUTIFUL property. They were extremely helpful and friendly upon checking in. The cottage we stayed in was beautiful, peaceful and felt very warm and homey. We enjoyed walking around the property and seeing the animals and gardens. Most importantly the stay was dog friendly for our two golden retrievers. Their friendly Labrador Cesar was a great host and greeted us, showed us around the property and kept the Goldie’s good company. Highly recommend a stay at SoHo Estate!

Location is amazing so close to public transport if needed. So close to the South Melbourne market and Main Streets of South Melbourne. If you want to get a taste of what it’s like to live like a local in Melbourne this is the perfect place. A very place to stay and a wonderful host who had everything you would need! We spent 6 nights at Phar Lap Tree Cottage and found it to be a relaxing, private , quiet and cosy place to stay. Kevin is a very thoughtful and caring host and welcomed us with chocolate Easter bunnies and a nice bottle of wine. There were also generous breakfast provisions. The queen size bed is probably the most comfortable one we've experienced on our airbnb stays. Looking out over the lovely garden, listening to the birds and watching the sunsets from the verandah was a special highlight. The cottage is in a great position for easy driving access to the Bellarine Peninsula and Great Ocean Road. We plan to stay at Phar Lap Tree Cottage again.
